"The problem that George has got here is that he slowed down for some reason, maybe it is the occasion or the nerves, maybe he is trying to get into his second wind. He has to keep going with his speed, he lost it for a minute and that suited Carl Froch."

Froch jabs, Groves counters. The Cobra pushes his opponent onto the ropes with a flurry of punches and the ref intervenes. Froch coming to the fore now.
Both men look for an opening - an overhand right from Groves connects. Froch again leads with his left - looking to open up space for his right hand, which does seem to be hurting the challenger.
The effect of Froch's punches are now showing on Groves's face. The pair meet in the centre and continue to trade.
