That punch after the bell there hurt Chisora. Whyte should be docked a point for that if you ask me.

A definite Dereck Chisora round there.

  2. Round eight - Whyte on the ropespublished at 23:32 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Chisora v Whyte

Dillian Whyte suddenly showing subtlety of hand as he looks to showboat a little. He seeks space to land something but his swagger is repelled by the game Dereck Chisora. This is now a barnstormer.

Chisora gets encouragement from the crowd as he lands and he pins Whyte to the ropes. WHYTE IN TROUBLE... gutsy stuff from Chisora. Brilliant effort as he lands a shot to wobble his man.

The bell rings, Whyte throws a shot which lands and that angers team Chisora. They leap onto the canvas and rant at their man's opponent.

  3. Round eightpublished at 23:29 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Chisora v Whyte

The two orthodox styles meet in the middle of the ring. Slow, messy shots thrown as the arms get heavier and less nimble. A slappy shot to the body looks tired from Chisora. The referee separates them... we go again...

This is such an exciting fight and its brilliant to see heavyweights going at it the way they are.

For me, Dillian Whyte is showing the heart of a champion - he looks the fresher of the two at this stage.

  5. Big finish to round sevenpublished at 23:27 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Chisora v Whyte

Dillian Whyte tries to throw a few short uppercuts on the inside as we enter the final minute of this round. An overhand right from Dereck Chisora is on target but not too powerful and we have a big finish to the round as the pair trade, they risk it all as they both swing wildly, no one hits the jackpot, no one loses the clothes they came in.

  6. Round sevenpublished at 23:26 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Chisora v Whyte

The strobe lighting skips around the arena, neither of these men look capable of skipping. Heavy-legged stuff and they are not even halfway. Someone will surely get knocked out here, a mistake must come.

Three jabs from Chisora, he takes a left hook to the jaw though. A left hook from Chisora lands on the glove but he jumps in to launch a right to the body.

He's throwing it all in but Dillian Whyte is taking it. The Body Snatcher is composed for one seemingly so volatile in the build-up to a bout.

We are only coming up to half way in this contest and it already looks like it's going to be decided by to who can sustain this tempo.

    Chisora is tiring badly here.

  8. Round six - is Chisora tiring?published at 23:23 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Chisora v Whyte

Close to the ropes, Dillian Whyte goes right to the body left to the jaw, neat and tidy, flicked shots.

Now they hug on the ropes - not in a loving sense - a brief pause. Dereck Chisora tries to duck and weave into space and throws a left, nothing telling.

Chisora's eyes look glazed, tired. A minute of the round left, a long time. He backs Whyte up and throws shots to the body. Chisora is going to the well here, digging in. A left jab late in the round... misses. Whyte throws a right, Chisora slips it. Nothing in it again. A cracking rumble.

  9. Round sixpublished at 23:21 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Chisora v Whyte

A towel is draped over the head of Dereck Chisora in the corner. The look of a tired man. I fear for him now. Dillian Whyte is younger and has a little more life in his walk as they come from the stools... Stay with me, I don't think we have long left, there's vulnerability wherever you look in there.

    What a round!

Old school heavyweights meeting each other head on. It was brilliant!

I think Chisora shook Dillian more than Dillian shook Chisora there.

  11. Round five - Chisora onslaughtpublished at 23:18 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Chisora v Whyte

A right hand from Dereck Chisora opens this fight up... WE HAVE ACTION... Dillian Whyte is on the ropes in this fifth. Another big right from Chisora, this could be it...

What an attack we have had there but Whyte has soaked it up like a kitchen mop and now the emphasis switches as lactic acid overwhelms Chisora after his flurry. Whyte suddenly carrying momentum, it could go the other way now. It has come to life with both men hurt without a shadow of doubt.

  12. Round fivepublished at 23:17 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Chisora v Whyte

BBC Radio 5 live's Mike Costello has this scored at two rounds apiece and he's watched one or two fights in his time.

Dereck Chisora lands a cracking left hook, possibly the best shot of the fight so far. No moving Dillian Whyte just yet though.

That's the first round I've given to Dillian Whyte. I just feel he picked the better shots there.

The right upper cut was sneaky on the inside and some of those body shots landed much better than anything Chisora offered.

  14. Round fourpublished at 23:15 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Chisora v Whyte

Dereck Chisora has a back like an elephant. He grabs Dillian Whyte to restrict him from escaping the ropes. We move into the last minute of the round. They are in close and Whyte throws two uppercuts. A right uppercut again, a left to the body. None of the shots are all too painful but they add up at this weight, boy do they add up.

Chisora again backs Whyte up in the last 10 seconds and gets one shot through the guard nicely. A close round again.

  15. Round fourpublished at 23:13 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Chisora v Whyte

Dereck Chisora has his guard up the higher of these two men, Dillian Whyte the more relaxed of the two. Two left jabs from Del Boy back his man up to the ropes where he lashes a body shot in to Whyte's right side....

For me, I've got a 3-0 for Chisora. It's going exactly the way Del Boy wants it to go - an up-close, nasty affair.

  17. Round threepublished at 23:11 Greenwich Mean Time 10 December 2016

    Chisora v Whyte

Dereck Chisora crouches, lowering his attack level and he dives in but misses near the corner. For me he is moving the better of the two men. He's certainly looking to force it a bit more.

He flicks out a left jab which gets the target too but a right from Dillian Whyte is telling.  They trade briefly, a hooked left from Chisora is nice and neat. We have a burst of action as they both suddenly find accuracy and venom. A close round, for me Chisora is the man carrying the fight consistently but Whyte looks more than capable of tagging him and I wonder if he is conserving more energy.

I thought that round was tricky to score - it was very close.

I had Chisora edging the first round but gave Whyte the second round purely down to the more front-foot pressure.

Already we are seeing some grappling and they've managed under five minutes of action. The sweat drips on the back of Dereck Chisora. A right to the body and solid left to the face from Del Boy, they both landed. Chisora puts his guard up and starts walking in close, choppy left to the body again. Nice work, he takes that round for me.
