    Martin Murray cannot believe it, but the decision has gone against him.

    The first judge scores it as a 114-114 draw, but the final two judges give it to Hassam N'Dam, by 117-112 and 116-112 margins.

    Disappointment for the Briton, who suffers the fifth defeat of a 43-fight career. Will there be a 44th bout for him?

    Cristofer Rosales is going to have to go after Charlie Edwards if he wants to leave London with his title intact, he tries to pin the Englishman into a corner but sees the white-shorted challenger escape once more.

    Rosales sneaks through, rattling the ribs of Edwards, but the Englishman is holding his own with a some neat combinations in the eighth.

    Edwards winds up and misses, Rosales tries to work the body. Tight.

    Manchester - round 12: Martin Murray v Hassam N'Dam

    To the judges scorecards we go in Manchester. Maybe Martin Murray needed a big round. He didn't really get it. Both men lift an arm and stand on the ropes in their respective corners.

    Both men are confident, one of them is probably going to be disappointed very soon.

    It's a lovely looking clash in Manchester, and you can see why both men have either held or fought for world titles. Both good work, both still moving well. Three minutes to go. This is a close one. Very, very close.

    Remember, N'Dam took a count in the fourth. In a fight like this, you never know if that swings it.

    Nathan Gorman - an emerging British heavyweight - moved to 15 wins from 15 earlier with a points win over Razvan Cojanu, external.

    Cojanu challenged Joseph Parker for a world title last year so the fact Gorman won practically every round bodes well.

    Edwards' feet are moving quicker than a Mad Friday dance-off in Pop World, he's trying to tire out Rosales in another even round.

    Martin Murray is having to chase after his man and a good combination finds the target midway through the 10th after backing up N'Dam against the ropes, although the Frenchman is still moving superbly and avoiding most of Murray's attacks.

    Martin Murray is having to be adventurous but is finding himself getting picked off with well-timed uppercuts from the Frenchman. At the age of 36, this could well be Murray's last chance to get back to the top table.

    Edwards is pumped, looking busy, and catches the world champion on the jaw as Rosales overstretches.

    Now Rosales comes out firing into the body of the Englishman.

    This WBC world flyweight fight is hotting up.

    Four to go and this is still either man's fight. Martin Murray may well still be behind on the scorecards so is going to have to pick up the pace if his hopes of world title shot number five are to stay alive.

    But it won't be easy as N'Dam looks a classy operator.

    The blue-gloved Cristofer Rosales comes out swinging in the second, taking the fight to Charlie Edwards with a well-executed one-two.

    Rosales walks Edwards along the ropes, but it's the Englishman who sneaks one into the body of his opponent and then finds his target with a clever left-hander.

    And follows up with a right, nice!

    Manchester - round 6: Martin Murray v Hassam N'Dam

    He went down in the fourth, but Hassam N'Dam, a former WBA world middleweight champion, has regrouped nicely in the next two rounds and is starting to get some success with the right uppercuts against Murray. This is a WBC Silver Middleweight Championship fight, so one both men need to win if they are to get back to world title level.

    "For two minutes of that round you were bossing it, but then you let him have it," says trainer Jamie Moore.

    Six gone, N'Dam may have just edged ahead at the halfway point.

    In the final seconds of the fourth, Martin Murray lands and Hassam N'Dam gets a count, although he is up quickly, saying he slipped.

    But it was a sharp right hand to the temple of N'Dam and that will be a 10-8 round to the Englishman.

    You never know, that could be crucial later on.
