Tony Bellew knows what it is like to win against the odds. He is hoping his fellow Liverpudlian does the business today..
Late last year, finding himself alongside boxing legend Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez at an event in Belfast, British fighter Rocky Fielding took the opportunity to grab a selfie with the Mexican.
A few months later, while on holiday in Alvarez's homeland, Fielding was able to wow the locals with his snap of himself alongside their national hero.
One man was taken aback enough to offer Fielding his car for the day, allowing him to take his young son Ralphi to a water park.
Scroll forward a few more months and Fielding - brought up in one of Britain's most deprived areas - now fights 28-year-old Alvarez - the highest paid man in boxing with Floyd Mayweather having retired - at New York's Madison Square Garden in New York.
We are seeing the main event fighters arriving. What a day in the career of Rocky Fielding this could well be. The stuff that dreams are made of.
Katie Taylor, speaking to Sky Sports, says: "It was absolutely brilliant, an absolute privilege to be boxing in Madison Square Garden, she came here to win, had amateur pedigree but I thought I boxed very smartly tonight.
"With the crowd behind me here it was fantastic. Obviously I would've loved the stoppage but they are very hard to get against a quality opponent and with the two-minute rounds.
"I have an awful lot of respect for Eva, we knew each other from the amateur days and it was an hour to share the ring with her at Madison Square Garden. I'm very competitive, do whatever it takes to win and very happy to make things difficult for my opponent.
"I'm going home tomorrow, first time I will have been home in six or seven months and I look forward to spending Christmas with my family."

BBC Sport at Madison Square Garden
Ten days before Christmas, Fairytale of New York echoed over the PA system here at The Garden as Katie Taylor extends her unbeaten record to 12-0.
Another dominant performance from the WBA & IBF champion. Lots of “Vamos Katie” chants during that bout. She clearly has the Mexican and Irish support tonight.

All three judges, as they should do, award Katie Taylor every single round. She gets the verdict by 100-90 margins to retain her IBF and WBA world lightweight titles.

A beautiful right hand, left hook, right hand from Katie Taylor. Great character shown by Eva Wahlstrom to go the distance, but it is just a matter of time before Katie Taylor's 12th professional victory in 12 fights is confirmed.
I lost count at about 10, but it may have been more as a blur of punches in a matter of seconds from Taylor all find their way into the stomach of Wahlstrom. Stunning stuff.
Eva Wahlstrom will want to hear the final bell, but she needs to find a Hollywood punch out of nowhere in the final two minutes if she is going to turn this around. Absolutely superb from Taylor, who has been too fast, too accurate, too powerful, too good. Last round.
Brilliant from Katie Taylor. Incredible hand speed and accuracy. This might not go the distance.
Round 8: Katie Taylor v Eva Wahlstrom
Wahlstrom needs a knockout if she is going to be the first woman to beat Katie Taylor. No sign of that coming in the eighth. Another flurry of punches from Taylor, leaves Wahlstrom with her back to the ropes. She now also has another cut, this time in the middle of the forehead, to deal with.
Our referee says it came from an accidental head clash.
Round 7: Katie Taylor v Eva Wahlstrom
A beautiful shot to the body of Wahlstorm. She looks hurt by that one. More success for Katie Taylor. This was expected to be the toughest challenge of her career. she has certainly risen to that challenge so far.
Seven gone out of a scheduled 10 two-minute rounds.
Round 6: Katie Taylor v Eva Wahlstrom
Wahlstrom is cut near her eye. It has been a dominant performance from Taylor so far.
Round 5: Katie Taylor v Eva Wahlstrom
She may well have won all four rounds so far, and Katie Taylor is ending strongly in the fifth as well, although Eva Wahlstrom attacked at the start of the round.
We have had four rounds gone in Madison Square Garden, and what a performance it has been from Katie Taylor so far..
Ireland's Katie Taylor takes up her place on the undercard in an eye-catching bout as she defends her IBF and WBA World Lightweight titles against Finland's Eva Wahlstrom.
On paper, it appears to be the toughest test of the 32-year-old's career because Wahlstrom holds a world-title a weight division lower and has not lost in a 22-fight career.
"I've been lucky enough to fight in some iconic venues since turning pro but I'm not sure there's any more iconic in a boxing sense than Madison Square Garden," Taylor said. "I think every fighter dreams about stepping in the ring there and I'm no different."
Lots more talk about Alvarez v Fielding later on, but first up is Katie Taylor...
Hello and welcome along to BBC Sport's live text as Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, one of the best pound-for-pound boxers in the world, takes on Liverpool's Rocky Fielding, who defends his WBA world super-middleweight title.
