Lewis Keefe: I hope Khan is nervous, shows he cares and not on a "win or lose I get paid" attitude. For British boxing's reputation in the US I hope he causes an upset. Then I hope he has Kell Brook with a belt on the line.
Brook v Khan with a belt on the line sounds juicy Lewis. Thanks for the tweet. Send them on to #bbcboxing folks.

If there's one video you want to watch before listening or reading about this fight it's this one.
What does Amir Khan need to do against a man so decorated he makes a king's Christmas tree look bland.

Steve Bunce
BBC Radio 5 live boxing pundit at Madison Square Garden
First thing I thought was I hope he is getting paid well.
Then I thought 'what if'.
The more I have spoken to him suggests to me that he couldn't get up for his last fight against Vargas.
Khan is sensing a bit of history. He knows this isn't just in America, Madison Square Garden is a special venue.
We are asking for a tiny boxing miracle but I don't think anyone is brave enough to say Khan can't win under any circumstance.

Seb Pitocco: The lack of respect and admiration for Amir never ceases to amaze me. He has stepped in with everyone and won so much. One of our best.

Amir Khan speaks to ESPN: "It's amazing to be at this famous arena. It's my time now. I am going to put on a great performance and hopefully be in the history books one day.
"People know me for speed and movement. Hopefully I put everything together.
"This is a fight I have been working hard for. I pushed for it and I'm going to cause a big upset."
Amir Khan has just done a WWE style interview (you know the ones, dodgy curtain behind him and the guy holding the microphone). Khan said all the right things but dare I say it, his voice didn't sound wholly confident.

Khan v Crawford
A fight record of 34 wins from 34 fights is eye-catching.
But dig into the record of Omaha's Terence Crawford and you'll find landmark moments.
- A lightweight world title, ripped from none other than Scotland's Ricky Burns in Glasgow in 2014
- All four super-lightweight titles secured in 2017 when he added two held by Julius Indongo to the two he already possessed
- A world title at a third weight in 2018, stopping the durable Australian Jeff Horn
That's why Amir Khan is a big underdog with bookmakers.

Amir Khan speaking to BBC Radio 5 live: "I think he is going to switch hit to confuse me. He will put the pressure on at times and go to the body.
"I will make sure I don't miss, over-reach. He's quick himself. It will be technical and I need to stay focused to the last round.
"People say I dip off. Yes, that's fair. It has made me realise I can't do that in this fight. I have to be at the right pace. I will pick the right shots at the right time and be smart in there."

British fight fans know all about the Amir Khan-Kell Brook saga.
I can tell you Brook is sat ringside in New York.
I don't think he's come for the cheesecake or chocolate brownie. He's there to cause a stir no doubt.
Will we see them in a ring together? I think so. Surely that's the natural final pay day?

Steve Macpherson: One thing about Amir; he's not scared of a challenge.
Thanks Steve. You're spot on, he has some great names on his record.

Mike Costello
BBC Sport boxing correspondent at Madison Square Garden
If you look at Khan's four defeats in his professional career, three have come from brutal knockouts and the other was a hotly disputed points decision.
What I am getting at is he hasn't actually been out-boxed in his career. He has been beaten for power but not for skill and guile. The few here who give him a chance, including his former trainer Freddie Roach, say he has to confide the fight into 12, three-minute fights. He has to concentrate on round by round.
He has been guilty too often in the past of lapses. They may only be momentary but at this highest level, they have proven to be desperately unlucky for him.
He cannot afford them against one so clinically accurate.
Khan v Crawford
Amir Khan told BBC Sport this week that his career is in it's final stages.
Could this be his last outing? If so, BBC Radio 5 live analyst Steve Bunce thinks the Briton could be lured into an 'all or nothing' mentality.

I can tell you that right now, Terence Crawford is flat on his back on a white towel in the changing room. He's being stretched out by his team. They are pulling and pushing his limbs all over. His eyes are glazed over, seemingly ice cool.
Khan will hope he puts the American on his back later on and who knows, we may even see a white towel again....

Khan v Crawford
Amir Khan has climbed many a mountain in a remarkable career, not to mention got himself through a bushtucker trial or two.
This though, is far more dangerous than eating worms or putting your head in a bucket of maggots.
Tonight he faces the man many feel is the most gifted and dangerous fighter at any weight.
He'll earn a few dingo dollars but my word he will have to work for them.
Khan v Crawford
The lights of Madison Square Garden beam down to illuminate a fight Amir Khan can't win....
Or so they say.....
