  5. Round 10published at 22:45 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2022

    Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall

Right hand from Taylor. But again it isn't as clean as he'd like.

Catterall's defence is superb. Absolutely superb. It's almost flawless.

Both fighters exchange shots after more words from the referee. And Catterall has a point off. That makes things interesting.

Catterall comes roaring back in but Taylor avoids a big shot. The round ends scrappy, in all honesty.

Taylor gestures to his fans at ringside. It’s not a convincing fist pump. And not for the first time tonight.

    Three rounds to go.

Three rounds for Taylor to save his belts.

    This could get wild.

  8. Round 9published at 22:40 Greenwich Mean Time 26 February 2022

    Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall

    Better from Taylor.

He's trying to chase Catterall and hits a left hand. The Scot is getting frustrated at the holding but it's smart from the challenger.

The champion hits a body shot then the pair clash heads. Catterall comes back with a left hand of his own then an uppercut.

The referee stops for a timeout again, with both fighters holding. He's being lenient, though.

Catterall's jab is landing really, really cleanly and it is dominating the fight. Jack is in control of this fight at the moment.

"Championship mentality," he roars at his fighter. Taylor might need a stoppage to salvage this.

    Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall

Taylor is hurt again after a body shot but the champion is back with one of his own.

He needs to go for this now. Another big shot from the Scot. But this looks set to be a 10-8 round for Catterall.

I think Josh Taylor is struggling with Catterall's timing. It's as if Taylor is blind to some stuff Catterall is doing. Fantastic so far.

    Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall

The referee has another word with Catterall, no points have been deducted so far, however.

Taylor lines up a combination in the corner, the crowd roar but it doesn't really come off.

But the champion soon clips Catterall's chin then hits a body shot. It's all a bit scrappy, though.

It's messy, but you can bet Catterall will take that all day long.
