Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall
Ohara Davies, a fighter whose two career defeats have come against Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall, has had his say on who he feels will come out on top in tonight's bout.
"I see Taylor winning the fight," Davies told Probellum. "Catterall is a good opponent, but he hasn’t fought at the level Taylor has been fighting at.
“If Taylor turns up, it should be easy work for him. I think Taylor stops him. If he is in shape and if he has been focused in camp then he can stop him."

Both fighters are now in the ring.
Yep, we're in for a belter tonight. Ring introductions coming right up.
Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall
Anything pre-pandemic feels like a lifetime ago, making it all the more surreal that Taylor's last Hydro bout wasn't even three years ago.
When the first bell rung against Ivan Baranchyk on 18 May 2019, Taylor was yet to win a world title belt.
The Scot won his first that night, the IBF. Three fights later, he has them all. Chuck in the Muhammad Ali trophy and the Ring belt along with that while we're at it.
The cut-throat nature of the sport, though, means that the Prestonpans fighter can lose it all tonight.
And here comes the champion.
The roof has just about managed to stay on The Hydro. I know it looks like a UFO, but it might take off like one as well at some point tonight.

Here comes Catterall...
Plenty of boos, as you'd expected, but the Englishman will be relishing every single second of this.
Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall
Catterall, who carries himself in a calm and composed manner, isn't fazed by the prospect of a pumped Glasgow crowd roaring in the favour of his opponent.
The Englishman is ready to relish an "electrifying atmosphere" north of the border - and that's exactly what he's about to experience.
"I know this is Josh's homecoming fight," Catterall told BBC Sport. "He's going to have a lot of support, we expect that, but I'm just buzzing to be in an electrifying atmosphere.
"Once the bell goes, it's just me and Josh in the ring. The fans can do what they want outside, it's irrelevant. When you're focused on something you truly want, the rest doesn't mean a thing."

Quote MessageI think Josh Taylor is certainly the favourite, but people are definitely overlooking Jack Catterall too. It is much closer than the bookies have it.
Amy McDonald is currently belting out 'Flower of Scotland', by the way.
The home crowd are well up for this now.

Taylor believes Catterall will have "self-doubts" and "little bit of fear" - but the Chorley-born challenger is brimming with quiet confidence.
"The Glasgow fans will see 17 years of hard work, not just 12 weeks of camp," Catterall says.

Kell Brook has also given his prediction for tonight's bout from The Hydro.
"I see Taylor taking control and stopping Catterall in under four rounds," he tells Sky Sports. "Josh is such a good fighter. He's got it all."
On a potential future fight with the Scot, Brook adds: "Who knows? Let me enjoy myself!"
Fair enough, Kell. You deserve a bit of time off after last weekend.

Josh Taylor v Jack Caterall
Almost three years on from his last homecoming fight, Taylor is ready to treat his fans to a stellar display.
"They can expect a great performance," the champion said, speaking at Thursday's final press conference. "I don't see a way Jack can beat me.
"The game plan he's got isn't going to work. If he comes to fight, it's a one-way fight. If he comes and meets me in the centre of the ring to dash it out, there's only one winner - that's me."
Josh Taylor v Jack Catterall
Despite being three years Taylor's younger, Catterall is more experienced in the ring.
The Englishman has a win record stemming 26 bouts, while the champion has had eight fewer fights.
While the Scot has spent less time in the ring, the champion he has had more encounters against elite-level fighters.
Catterall acknowledges that, but the 28-year-old believes his time is now to make the transition into a recognised world-class boxer.
Both southpaw fighters, Taylor weight in a pound heavier (140) and marginally has a longer reach (69.5) than Catterall (69.0).
