Adam Azim and Aram Fanyan have gone the distance in their WBA Continental light-welterweight title bout.

Belt-holder Azim started slowly but moved through the gears in the second half of the fight.

We're waiting on a decision from the judges but Azim looks to have done enough to move to 9-0.

    Smith v Eubank 2

Kell Brook speaking to Sky Sports: "Potential fight for me [to face the winner] if I want to come out of retirement. I see Smith winning again. He's been in some big fights, an ex-world champion. He's good all round is Smith. Eubank doesn't listen to people."

  4. Predictions - 'Absolute shootout'published at 22:05 British Summer Time 2 September 2023

Two-weight world champion Natasha Jonas: "Liam wins. I think the best Chris can do is make it last longer."

Boxxer promoter Ben Shalom: "I still believe Liam is the slight favourite in this fight. And if he's on form, he's 100%, he's had the preparation, he should win the fight. But it's one of those that could go either way. I think we will see the fight we thought we would see. One that goes the distance, an absolute shootout."

Smith's coach Joe McNally: "Jr's a magnificent talent. He can fight, he can box. Can we capitalise on a lot of the mistakes he does? Most definitely, which we plan to do."

Aram Fanyan is giving Adam Azim plenty to think about.

The sixth round has just started and Azim is struggling to land anything meaningful.

Azim had a huge reputation as an amateur and is unbeaten in eight fights as a professional.

    Smith v Eubank 2

Brian 'Bomac' McIntyre, trainer of Chris Eubank Jr, speaking to Sky Sports: "Just be yourself. He already knows how to box. Watch out for the mistakes. Terence Crawford's been texting all day, him and the entire team. The whole world is watching at this point. He'll be turning in."

Former two-time IBO super-middleweight champion Chris Eubank Jr has spent much of a professional career as a nomad when it comes to coaching.

The son of former two-weight world champion Chris Eubank was initially happy to be mentored by his father.

More recently, 'Junior' has leant on the experience of others to fine tune his craft.

Brian 'Bomac' McIntyre joined Eubank Jr's camp in August and the American comes with some big credentials.

McIntyre also trains undisputed welterweight champion Terence Crawford and was in his corner for July's dominant victory against Errol Spence Jr.

"I trust him [McIntyre], that's the main thing. It's very hard for me to trust people in this sport," Eubank Jr said.

"There's a lot of people saying they know what they're doing but they don't really know. This could never be Bomac and his team because they have the track record with Terence Crawford."

So you've heard predictions from some names in the boxing world - we've got a few more of those to come - but what are you thinking for tonight's main event?

Liam Smith recorded a fourth round TKO win over Chris Eubank Jr in January and is confident of a repeat performance.

Eubank, however, is ready to avenge the only time he's been stopped in his career.

So, thumbs up for a Smith win or thumbs down for a Eubank win.

  9. Predictions - 'Emphatic Eubank win'published at 21:45 British Summer Time 2 September 2023

Former light-middleweight world champion Hannah Rankin: "This time I am going with Smith on points. I feel that Eubank is a strong and will be less weight drained this time, but I think Smith has the superior boxing IQ."

Unbeaten middleweight Hamzah Sheeraz: "I've got Smith winning again via knockout but I feel the fight is going to last a little longer this time, with Smith winning around rounds 8-10. Eubank is going to be more cautious of Smith this time and could pull it off but I don't see it."

Light-welterweight Harlem Eubank: "I predict an emphatic win for Chris Eubank Jr on Saturday night and, likely, it will be by stoppage."

Lauren Price may want Natasha Jonas next, however she faces competition from Mikaela Mayer.

The American called out Jonas after a comfortable 100-90 points win over Silvia Bortot in their light-welterweight bout.

"I'm ready for that fight, I'm preparing my body for that fight, it's a big jump going from 130lbs to 137lbs," Mayer said. "I'm prepared to go to 137lbs and take on Tasha Jonas straight away.

"That's the one I want next! And she sounds like she's game. We came up in the amateurs together, we're no strangers to each other."

Natasha Jonas speaking on Sky Sports ahead of a potential fight with Mikaela Mayer: "I want it, Mikaela wants it, the fans want it. Why not?"

Mayer responded: "I think we're both in the time in our careers where we want a big fight. I want it and she wants it. I would ideally want it next."

Jonas: "If next is before the end of this year then lets go."

  17. Price maintains unbeaten recordpublished at 21:25 British Summer Time 2 September 2023

Earlier tonight, Lauren Price ensured she remains unbeaten as a professional with victory over Lolita Muzeya in their welterweight clash.

The referee halted the bout in round six due to Muzeya suffering a horrendous cut on her eyebrow, with Price being awarded the win on points 60-53 having dominated proceedings to that point.

It was Price's fifth win in as many full-time fights, having turned professional after winning gold at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021.

Following her win over the 32-year-old Zambian, Price says she wants to fight Natasha Jonas next.

"For myself, Tash," she said when asked to pick her next opponent. "She's got the belt. I respect her 100%, but I want to be chasing world titles. We're both British and it'd be a honour to share the ring with her."

  20. 'They tried to manipulate the referee'published at 21:20 British Summer Time 2 September 2023

    Clarke beats Allen

Frazer Clarke speaking to Sky Sports after beating Dave Allen: "All credit to Dave. Not vintage again, but if you're going to learn on the job then Dave is the man to do it with. He's a tough man, like I knew it would be.

On having points deducted for low blows: "It's a fighting game and I'm a clean fighter. If it was low then I apologise to Dave right now.

"I feel like some of them were clean shots and they tried to manipulate the referee. You're on a massive tightrope. I don't believe in risking it and not doing it. I trust in my ability to land the shots properly. I think my shots were genuine and were hurting him.

"The coach went mad at me. Dave hit me with some good shots, them ones on the inside, they scramble your brain. All of his fans on Instagram, he will be joking around saying it's a low blow. He wants a rematch, he wants more dough.

"I'll be getting in the gym and improving. I need to look after my body. I look at that and take optimism from it. I need to improve."
