It’s been a wet start to the morning here in Zandvoort but the entrepreneurial spirit is once again thriving in the streets leading up to the circuit. A poncho will set you back three euros but it’s unlikely to be needed for the rest of the day, as the weather is forecast, fingers crossed, to clear up fairly quickly.

Down near the paddock, George Russell and Kimi Antonelli were returning from the fan Q&A at the massive fan zone stage, while Charles Leclerc and Lance Stroll arrived to the delight of the fans waiting patiently behind the barriers.

Good morning everyone and welcome back to our live text coverage. It's time to settle in with your breakfast and a coffee as final practice gets under way in 15 mins.

As the drivers entered the paddock this morning it was raincoats on and hoods up, but it's looking fairly dry for now.

McLaren's Lando Norris topped both practice sessions on Friday. He heads into the weekend nine-points behind championship leader and team-mate Oscar Piastri.

Final practice goes green at 10:30 BST.

Qualifying gets under way at 14:00 BST.
