With 10 laps to go, I'm going to be brave and say that I think Leclerc has got this, I think it's going to be so hard for Oscar Piastri because he's going to have a fight with Carlos Sainz.

Norris is through on Verstappen into fourth place, this is not the race Max Verstappen was hoping to have as Norris will try and peddle his way up the road to catch up to his team-mate Oscar Piastri who is four seconds up the road.

Lap 42/53
Red Bull have made the call that this is the perfect time to call in Max Verstappen for his second stop. Medium tyres for the three-time world champion.
Ferrari, however, are rolling the dice on a one-stopper. Charles Leclerc is leading the field with birthday boy Carlos Sainz in second place...

The question is, where are they going to pit Max Verstappen? At the moment him and Norris are out on track together, we know Verstappen has to come in for another pit-stop, he's done two tyres and he has to go onto the medium.

Lap 40/53
The test has come for Lando Norris. He's on the rear wing of the Red Bull of Max Verstappen but the championship leader is not going to let his rival pass that easy. The McLaren man will have to wait this one out in fifth at the moment.

Lap 38/53
Oscar Piastri is asked if he can make the one-stopper work. The Australian doesn't think it's possible, so into the pits he comes.
Round two for George Russell and Sergio Perez. The Mercedes overtakes the Red Bull for eighth, but it was another interesting encounter between the pair.

Piastri doesn't have to but he came in on Lap 17 and I would be amazed if he can get to get to the end of this race with the pace that he is with just one-stop.

Perez is coming in and that surely indicates that Verstappen will have to pit again, but the big question, do any of the top four have to pit again, will they want to pit again?

Lap 37/53
The purple stopwatch is parked by Lando Norris in sixth place and the McLaren is gaining on the Red Bull of Max Verstappen. The Dutchman is on the radio to ask what strategy he should take whe his title rival approaches.
"When it’s possible to defend, do you want me to race [Norris]?" he asks his engineer.

We are coming into where traffic will be playing a part for those up front. Charles Leclerc is tucked up behind Gasly at the moment, he should be getting the benefit now - or soon - of DRS down the main straight.

Following his scrap with George Russell, Sergio Perez is in to the pits - and out quickly - on some medium tyres. Can the Red Bull driver come out ahead of the Mercedes? Yes he can.

The right-rear tyre was the sticky spot for Mercedes on George Russell's pit stop. He's up one place though, as he passes Daniel Ricciardo for 11th spot.
