    Meanwhile, George Russell is trying to steal Sergio Perez's seventh spot, but the Mercedes man is on to the gravel at the chicane and gives the Red Bull driver his place back.

    We believe from that McLaren radio message that driver are free to race but right now it is Piastri who has the upper hand, Norris is having to look in his mirrors because he's still got Leclerc who is causing him a bit of trouble.

    I think McLaren have realised that Leclerc is a threat here and they need Norris to essentially hold him up and play the team game to allow Piastri to rebuild a bit more of a gap and for Norris to hold back Leclerc.
