Lance Stroll runs over a bit of a debris on the track, which could well be a bit of Gabriel Bortoleto's front wing.

The rain was predicted to hit around now, but it all looks pretty dry at the moment.

Kimi Antonelli makes a move on Yuki Tsunoda in a battle for 11th, and Tsunoda defends well.

Oliver Bearman reports that he is "a bit scared" of Gabriel Bortoleto's front wing because it is flapping quite a bit.

Remember Bortoleto has basically gone backwards since the start, so maybe has an issue.

It's a big chunk of time to make up to Oscar Piastri but we're still in very early stages of the race, so nothing that Lando Norris can't do.

He's also shown previously that he has that race pace over Piastri, so I'm not doubting that he can make that deficit up.

Charles Leclerc tries to have a nibble at Isack Hadjar into Turn One but just hasn't quite got the pace to get the move down the inside done.

Lando Norris is flying! He clocks a new fastest lap - which is four tenths faster than Oscar Piastri's latest effort - and the gap is currently at four seconds.

At this point as a driver you will be starting to see the raindrops on the visor, but when it's so light it's purely a mental battle at that point.

The small raindrops won't be making too much of a difference to the grip but if it starts to get heavy and lasting for a long period of time, that is when the drivers really need to adapt and find the grip where it's changing. At the moment it's looking fairly dry.

Lance Stroll pits to move on to hards, despite the slight threat of some rain coming.

He's back out in last place.

A bold move by Lando Norris as he sweeps around the outside of Max Verstappen through Turn One. Verstappen doesn't leave him much room, but Norris keeps his cool to get back into second.

"Nice job, " he is told. "Let's go get Piastri,"

It was a really bad start for Gabriel Bortoleto, he did not get the start of dreams. He started this race in 13th and fell all the way back to 19th.

Isack Hadjar has some experienced drivers around him but he's done well to keep hold of fourth.

Ahead of him, Lando Norris is getting closer to Max Verstappen with eight tenths between them.

The roar was deafening from the crowd in the main stand, just to the right of me, when Max Verstappen caught Lando Norris. I’m at Turn Three, where Oscar Piastri has pulled a gap on the Dutchman early doors.

George Russell is told over the radio that the rain is expected to be light and last for 7-10 laps.

Oscar Piastri is the fastest man on the track now and he's built the gap up to 3.4 seconds.

Looking at the replays of the start Max Verstappen had a real moment, losing grip briefly into Turn Two as he pushed to squeeze ahead of Lando Norris. He did really well to wrestle against it and keep control.

This is the worst scenario for the McLaren of Lando Norris dropping off the back now of Max Verstappen.

A really big frustration for Norris and it won't be easy now to try and get that track position back.

The clouds have gathered now over the circuit and apparently we could have some light rain coming in the next few minutes.

George Russell has been unable to fend off the Ferrari of Charles Leclerc and he's dropped to sixth, with Lewis Hamilton right up behind him.

Alex Albon had a cracking start and he has gained five places already. He's up to 10th and in the points.
