  1. Bye for nowpublished at 18:04 British Summer Time 14 July

    FT: Donegal 0-15 Galway 1-14

Well, it didn't have the fireworks of yesterday's semi-final but Galway ground it out to secure a place in the decider against Armagh.

It's disappointment for Donegal, who faded late in the game but they are on the upward curve after winning promotion and the Ulster title.

We hope you enjoyed but that's all from us for now.

    Thanks for your company.

From Galway's point of view, something Padraig Joyce will be happy about, they still found a way.

Even with them tow of out (Walsh and Comer), they still found a way and they found scores through that middle eight.

I think Galway did defend better in the second half.

Donegal probably ran out of a few more options.

They started the second half really well, but Galway always just did wear they down and that's the fine margins.

Armagh All-Ireland winner on BBC Sport

I think Galway just wore Donegal down in the end.

They just had that extra bit of quality up front.

I don't want to pick certain individuals out, from Oisin Gallen kicked the free wide, Donegal's efficiency fell through the floor.

There was a lot pot-shots, there was no ball into the full forward line.

I think Donegal will regret some of their decision making in the second half, because i think it was there for them.

  5. Donegal's scoring ratepublished at 17:48 British Summer Time 14 July

    Mickey Harte
Former Derry & Tyrone boss on BBC Sport

Look at efficiency rate. Ten points of thirteen in the first half, five out of eleven in the second.

In a tight margin game like this, that's a serious statistic.

It's such fine margins, and even though the team has come a long way in the last twelve months, or even less than that, maybe ten months, they will look back upon today that there moments in that game, they owe nobody absolutely anything.

They've given us brilliant days out. In Clones, in Celtic Park in Derry, in Croke Park and for that reason it has been absolutely brilliant.

I feel for Donegal, it's been an impressive year for Donegal to get to an All-Ireland final, or to even win it considering where they were at last year. But it's very interesting to see now in an All-Ireland final is two managers that have been on the road for a long time.

It's going to be a great battle.

Donegal had one last roll of the dice in stoppage time, as they launched a high ball in, but the ball ended up in the hands of a Galway man and Brendan Cawley called time on the game.

In the stands, N17 from the Saw Doctors rings out over the speakers and has the Galway supporters in full voice!

Galway will be practising this over the last few weeks, how to set up defensivly.

Different situation when the 70 minutes are up on the clock, in injury time and you are in an All-Ireland semi-final.

Patience is going to be the key.

Donegal have to change their tactics.
