I know it's early, but that was brilliant defending from Donegal.

It's alright being fit, but you have to be match fit is a different story.

When you are in a green and gold jersey and you have to track them, making them lung bursting runs, that's when you get in trouble and that's when something goes.

Everyone suggested that Kerry and Dublin were the two big teams, nobody really expected it, just like the hurling, the finalists to be there.

I suppose it is refreshing for the neutrals, anybody would like to be where they are today. But there is only a couple of them that can be in the final and one of them is out here today.

    Michael Murphy
Former Donegal captain and All-Ireland winner on BBC Sport

Yes, a bit nervous coming in today.

A nice walk in, a lot of Donegal fans on the road in, so it's brilliant.

Coming in to this weekend for all the four teams, including Donegal, there was an excitement as to what could be, we realised that last night with Armagh.

There's no doubt that Donegal and Galway are dreaming and thinking of what could be over the next couple of weekends for them.

  17. Pundit Predictions - Oisin McConvillepublished at 15:48 British Summer Time 14 July

    Donegal v Galway (16:00 BST)

After Armagh's victory yesterday we have a very happy Oisin McConville back in studio. After a nervous day for the Crossmaglen man he's looking forward to seeing Michael Murphy go through the ringer today

He's fancied Galway all week but he thinks the Donegal bench could have a big impact.

"I'm gonna go with Galway just to sneak it, maybe on penalties!"

  18. Oisin still on cloud ninepublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 14 July

    Donegal v Galway (16:00 BST)

    Oisin McConville
Armagh All-Ireland winner on BBC Sport

It was great occasion. Armagh finished the game really strong.

The buzz about yesterday evening on the way, the couple of mile tailback, it took us about three and a half hours getting home, but no one really cared.

  19. Pundit predictions - Michael Murphypublished at 15:46 British Summer Time 14 July

    Donegal v Galway (16:00 BST)

I'll let you take a guess at who Michael Murphy tipped to win!

Yes, it was in fact Donegal.

"Prediction for this game, I'm probably going to be a bit biased. Donegal by three points. I have to go with Donegal."

Could Sam Maguire be heading back to the Hills of Donegal this year?!

  20. Pundit predictions - Mickey Hartepublished at 15:43 British Summer Time 14 July

    Donegal v Galway (16:00 BST)

    Faith Harper
BBC Sport NI at Croke Park

Our pundits weren't too far wrong with their predictions yesterday! The one thing they all agree on is that today's game is a lot harder to call.

Mickey Harte is expecting another close contest today. He believes this one will depend entirely on the fitness of Shane Walsh and Damien Comer. "If they're at full fitness and in their best form, then Donegal are in bother."

However if Galway's key players aren't on song, he says we're looking at the first all Ulster All-Ireland final since 2003!
