    Hard tyres are on for polesitter Lando Norris and the McLaren rejoins in second place. Max Verstappen leads in Monaco but the Dutchman is on 23-lap old medium rubber.

    George Russell has been noted by race ccontrol for cutting a corner while battling Alex Albon. The Mercedes man says he'll take the five-second penalty instead of giving the place back, as he thinks the Williams man is driving "erratically". Russell is 10th, Albon is 11th.

    Ferrari jump into action to respond to McLaren's pitting of Oscar Piastri. The Monegasque man is out on hard tyres, but he's third now, as Lando Norris is the next to stop...

    Charles Leclerc is now extending the gap to [race leader] Lando Norris so he's definitely got the message.

    I think we could be seeing a bit of a push for his final stop, he's got a bit of a gap and could come out right behind Max Verstappen who still has to stop.

    Stop number two for Oscar Piastri and the championship leader is back out in fourth, a place behind Max Verstappen in the Red Bull.

    The train of cars reach the tunnel for another lap in Monte Carlo. George Russell is behind his best mate Alex Albon in P11 but he flags to Mercedes the Williams is going slow and is being a bit naughty on the brakes.

    Carlos Sainz has been playing the ultimate team game and backing up the field, he's been in 11th for the majority for this race.

    He's been backing up everyone behind him to allow Alex Albon to do both of his pit stops and still remain inside that top 10.

    Lando Norris is on for a maiden Monaco victory today. The McLaren is now six seconds clear of Charles Leclerc and 15 seconds free his team-mate Oscar Piastri.

    Williams have done a little switch and allowed Carlos Sainz to go past Alex Albon so the Spaniard can do his two stops while Albon does the defensive work behind.

    I'm looking at the driver tracker and there is a huge space behind Lando Norris. There is plenty of room for a pit stop for any one of these drivers in the top four at the moment.

    Lap 43 and Lando Norris is leading from Charles Leclerc, Oscar Piastri, Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. The top five have all made one of at least two stops in Moanco, while Isack Hadjar, Esteban Ocon and Liam Lawson have all done their day's work in the pits.

    We will see what happens with Lando Norris because he hasn't currently extended [his lead] and it looks like Charles Leclerc is upping the pace because the gap to Norris in front is reducing.

    That is going in the wrong direction for Norris at the moment.

    Liam Lawson makes a trip to the pits, but Williams also call in Alex Albon. The Racing Bulls is now on the hards, same as Albon, and comes out clear of the Thai-Brit to keep hold of his eighth place.
