    Breaking

    Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 322-6

The four weather interruptions yesterday ended any real hopes of a positive result for either side in this one.

Danial Ibrahim's (122*) second first-class century and his highest career score was today's highlight.

Both teams look like solid mid-table material.

A magnificent sixth-wicket stand of 215 between Tom Westley (130 not out) and Michael Pepper (140) has saved this game for Essex.

They were in trouble on 131-5, and still trailing, but Westley and Pepper batted superbly for two sessions.

Once he's done, the players shake hands on a draw. 12 points each on a flat deck at Trent Bridge.

  8. Postpublished at 16:43 British Summer Time

    Notts 487 & 139-1 v Yorkshire 510

They're going through the motions at Trent Bridge.

15 minutes until this one ends in a draw.

Time for an over from Jonny Bairstow maybe?

He's bowled six balls in his entire first-class career - one run conceded - no wickets.

  9. Postpublished at 16:39 British Summer Time

    Leics 576-7 dec v Glamorgan 353 & 323-6

Rishi Patel has just broken through for Leicestershire, removing Chris Cooke for nine, to give them a slight chance of forcing victory.

But they'll need to get Colin Ingram - he's 130 not out.

Glamorgan lead by exactly 100 with 23 overs left in the game.

Mitchell Stanley to Grant Stewart - now, I'm not sure what the bowler has done to upset Stewart because he's hit him for six sixes now - just not all in the same over.

It's in the car park again.

  11. 6 runs

    Lancs 639-9d v Kent 374 & 231-7

    Pepper c Abbott b Prest 140 (Essex 349-6, lead by 192 v Hants)

Michael Pepper's excellent knock comes to an end at the hands of part-time spinner Tom Prest, but he's done the job for Essex.

    Hudson-Prentice b Drissell 26 (Durham 327 v Sussex 361 & 307-6)

WICKETpublished at 16:23 British Summer Time

    Latham c & b Overton 52 (Warwickshire 114-3 (target 377) v Somerset)

Out of nowhere we have a wicket!

Two runs shy of a 100-run-partnership between Tom Latham and Sam Hain.

A decent catch in his follow through from the Somerset skipper.

May this reinvigorate Somerset's push for victory!?

Latham got 50s in both innings without kicking on.

Jacob Bethell only got 20 on this benign surface with his first bat, he will be desperate personally to perform, even if whatever he scores today may be irrelevant with regards to his team's result in this match.

Joey Evison and Grant Stewart are doing their best to save this for Kent.

Both have reached 50, mixing defence with attack - the three sixes in a row from Stewart off Mitchell Stanley have been a particular highlight.

    Lancs 639-9d v Kent 374 & 215-7

Six more for Grant Stewart and it's Mitchell Stanley the unfortunate bowler again.

This one sails over long on.

The ball needs some surgery from the umpires after hitting the concrete.

    Kent trail by 50 runs.

Another wonderful catch from Miles Hammond!

Harry Came nails a shot into the leg side off Todd Murphy's offs-pin, but Hammond flings himself away to his right and sticks out a big right hand.

The ball sticks and Derbyshire are two down, needing 127 more to win.
