We're really starting to see the game open up now. Two plays, two shots.

That's crucial to what we want to see in an All-Ireland semi-final, particularly for the crowd and energy.

All the pundits and experts predicted a tight contest and that's exactly as it has played out so far.

Armagh look to be finding it slightly easier to make incisions into the opposition defence but Galway have nevertheless been able to work their five scores.

Shane Walsh's missed free with the left foot will be a concern for Galway fans. It looked as though he could have shot with the right peg from that angle and there have been suggestions that his injury has been affecting his ability to kick with his stronger foot.

If you look at Armagh, they don't really look like they have an offensive structure.

They're all gravitating towards the Hogan Stand. I don't know if it's purposely but they're attacking very narrow. There is so much space out on the right hand side.

Niall Grimley penalised for a foul on Matthew Tierney and with Rob Finnerty off, the free-taking duty falls to Shane Walsh who is unable to finish.

When Galway take it into scoring zones it's very important for Armagh players to be disciplined.

As soon as Armagh put a hand in or over the shoulder, it gives Galway a free opportunity that's easy to hit over the bar.

Another long period of Galway possession comes to nothing this time as they kick their first wide.

Rob Finnerty's departure has to be regarded as a huge blow for Galway after the season he has had.

Don't forget Galway have also have injury concerns over Damien Comer and Shane Walsh.

Finnerty appeared to be injured in a tackle by Rian O'Neill even though he got back up to kick the free which put the Tribesmen 0-3 to 0-1 ahead.

It's what I thought would happen. It's tit for tat, end to end. They are slowing momentum down and keeping the ball.

Armagh have all their bodies behind the ball, it's going to be really hard to break that down.
