We won't see another Adam Peaty in the pool for a very long time. To be unbeaten and dominating the world scene is incredible.

He might not win loads of medals, but he is so far ahead of the field and I haven't seen that level of dominance in a long time.

Adam is driven, a professional and just never has a bad session. He never swims badly. To be 23 and at the top of his game is amazing.

    Women's B&VI 1000m time trial final

Unfortunately, Aileen McGlynn and her pilot Louise Haston won't be receiving a bronze medal in the women's B&VI 1000m time trial.

It seems because there were only three in the final, medals are only awarded to the first and second place finishers.

Sergio Ramos man-marking Diego Costa in a Champions League semi-final would not be as niggly as this.

Scotland's teenage goal-shooter Bethan Goodwin is holding up well amid the hurly-burly.

She clocks in at the end of the third quarter with a 85% shooting success rate.

Scotland, a point down at half-time, lead by five.

    Women's points race

After five of 10 sprints, Neah Evans is second with seven points while Scottish team-mate Katie Archibald fourth on five.

Elinor Barker breaks away with huge acceleration to launch a solo attack and wins that fifth sprint and it's her first five points on the board. Relentless.

But hold up! She's gained a lap. That's 20 points for Barker and she's well in the lead now.

Peter McGrail put Kenya’s Benson Njangiru on his back twice in round one. He looked every bit the class act as the referee stopped the bout in the third with Njangiru sporting a deep cut.

The man in blue is one serious medal hope for Team England. European champion, he knows he can go all the way here and he has some serious support in the stands as shouts of “do it for Liverpool” and a take on the standard Anthony Joshua tune break out. “Ohhh Peter McGrail....”
