There was a 20% chance of rain at the start of this race so has that increased a little, the teams have some of the best radars in the world, they will be able to see exactly where the rain is coming from.
Oscar Piastri is moving through the field quickly. The McLaren has just cleared Valtteri Bottas and next up is Pierre Gasly. The Alpine driver knows he hasn't got the pace to challenge the McLaren, so instead, he lets the Australian go by to take P10.
Spoke too soon. George Russell reckons he can feel small spot of rain. It's staying dry for now, so maybe it's just a delicate bead of sweat on the Mercedes man's brow.
Out on track, Oscar Piastri has overtaken the Sauber of Valtteri Bottas for P11.
Max Verstappen is half a second or so a lap slower than Lewis Hamilton at the moment so while you might expect for him to be closing on Hamilton who is not happy in his new upgraded Mercedes, he doesn't appear to be doing that at the moment.
Max Verstappen has turned weather forecaster, telling his Red Bull pit wall "it's getting darker". An unexpected shower would throw the cat among the pigeons, no doubt, but as it's 9pm at night here in the UK, let's hope it stays dry.
Oscar Piastri and Liam Lawson finally make their stops, with the McLaren rejoining the action in 13th and the RB of Lawson in 17th spot behind the Red Bull of Sergio Perez.
Franco Colapinto is also highlighting issues over at Williams, telling the pit wall he is experiencing problems with his steering. The Argentine is in ninth, but hasn't pitted.
Is Max Verstappen struggling? It's been a miserable day for the Dutchman so far. He's already served a 20-second penalty and is now running in seventh place, but he has flagged to Red Bull his hard tyres are feeling a bit iffy...
There are a couple of drivers in the top 10 who haven't come into the pits yet: Piastri being one of them, Liam Lawson and Franco Colapinto being the others.
Carlos Sainz has pulled out a seven-second gap on his Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc, with Lando Norris staying put in third spot.

I think Oscar Piastri's fight could be with Lewis Hamilton come the end of this race potentially if he gets a move on. All of this fighting is losing the McLaren drivers' lap time.
Lewis Hamilton has pitted, and with fresher tyres than Oscar Piastri's starting mediums, the seven-time world champion is able to complete the overtake on the McLaren one lap later. Hamilton is fifth, Piastri drops back down to sixth.
Oscar Piastri is stuck in the middle of Liam Lawson and Lewis Hamilton. The McLaren needs to be aggressive to clear the two cars but he does manage to complete the task. Piastri is up to fifth, but is yet to pit.
