Liam Lawson and Franco Colapinto are the next battle on track. The RB is on the inside of the Williams and there's contact between the two cars. Lawson has to make his way to the pits for some TLC, rejoining the action in P17 on a set of softs.

Mission complete for Lewis Hamilton. It's been a slow burn. but the seven-time world champion finally pinched his team-mate's spot with a move around the outside at Turn One.

George Russell has done a really strong job on this stint on the hard compound tyre.

Now the Mercedes are squabbling with each other. Lewis Hamilton is desperate to swipe that fourth place but George Russell is defending strongly.

Lando Norris has taken second place away from the Ferrari and is now clocking fastest laps for fun. Carlos Sainz is eight seconds up the road and is edging closer to a Mexico victory.

Big big news for the world championship, Lando Norris up to second place and with the fastest lap, he will collect 19 points to Max Verstappen's eight. That's an 11 point swing for the Englishman.

Franco Colapinto is still banking fastest laps in the Williams. The Argentine is rapid on his medium tyres.

Carlos Sainz is 7.8 seconds ahead of his team-mate Charles Leclerc and is now closing in on his second victory of the 2024 season.

Lewis Hamilton is still pressuring his team-mate George Russell but the door to that fourth place is staying firmly shut.
