Oscar Piastri is moving through the field quickly. The McLaren has just cleared Valtteri Bottas and next up is Pierre Gasly. The Alpine driver knows he hasn't got the pace to challenge the McLaren, so instead, he lets the Australian go by to take P10.

Spoke too soon. George Russell reckons he can feel small spot of rain. It's staying dry for now, so maybe it's just a delicate bead of sweat on the Mercedes man's brow.
Out on track, Oscar Piastri has overtaken the Sauber of Valtteri Bottas for P11.
Max Verstappen is half a second or so a lap slower than Lewis Hamilton at the moment so while you might expect for him to be closing on Hamilton who is not happy in his new upgraded Mercedes, he doesn't appear to be doing that at the moment.

Max Verstappen has turned weather forecaster, telling his Red Bull pit wall "it's getting darker". An unexpected shower would throw the cat among the pigeons, no doubt, but as it's 9pm at night here in the UK, let's hope it stays dry.
