    Chelsea 5-0 Durham

    Brave goalkeeping from Rylee Foster.

She punches clear among a crowd of bodies at a corner and is rewarded with an off-target reply from Erin Cuthbert.

Khiara Keating was looking upbeat in the warm-ups and had done really well with her hands with some brave claims. She generally has a good boot on her but it's here where she is really coming unstuck.

The crowd, as you would expect, jeer her every touch and whilst I thinks she's able to shut that out, clearly her kicking isn't quite right again, this evening.

Chelsea’s dominance in the women’s game is just tiresome. The league has become boring and predictable and nobody in their right mind thought a championship side was winning tonight. Only team to get the ‘easy’ draw is the one team that needs a challenge. Boring!

    A tired rival fan

    Man Utd 1-2 Man City

United make a fourth change of the night with Jayde Riviere replacing Leah Galton.

    Chelsea 5-0 Durham

Kaila Novak darts up field for Durham and evades several Chelsea challenges before being made to settle for a corner.

Can the visitors at least grab a goal for their efforts?

  8. Postpublished at 20:28 Greenwich Mean Time 22 January

    Chelsea 5-0 Durham

Goalkeeper Rylee Foster has gone down for Durham.

She came on as a substitute herself at half time so if she were to go off the visitors would be forced to put an outfielder in net.

One to keep an eye on.

    Chelsea 5-0 Durham

In fairness to Durham they have defended very well for the most part tonight and it almost feels harsh that they are 5-0 down.

It's what Chelsea do though. They can take games away from you within minutes.

    Brighton 0-0 Arsenal

Arsenal gets things back under way.

Brighton have never beaten Arsenal over 90 minutes (Arsenal have won 14 of their 15 meetings) but it's very much all to play for in this second half.

Surprised not to see Alessia Russo rested tonight in view of all the other changes. She runs herself into the ground for the team and needs to be fresh for the top games. On a great scoring run maybe but it won't continue with a half empty tank.

    Five.

Maika Hamano finally has her goal and it's a wonderful one at that.

As she picks up the ball on the right she spots Rylee Foster off her line and opts to dink the ball over her quite brilliantly.
