"South Africa are the first team to score 400 or more in two consecutive ODIs."
Phil Walsh:, external The England cricket team are so naive. They keep talking about 300 runs like it's a world record. It's not even par these days!
Stuart Broad: "I must admit the timing of this press coming out is not ideal for us as a team. We've had our toughest fortnight for some time. We don't want external influences breaking into our group. It would be wrong for me to comment and create any headlines.
"We've got the 15 of us here who are the only people who can make a difference. I couldn't care less at the moment what happens in June and July. We don't need guys focusing on other things."
Stuart Broad: "At the end of the day we need to win two games and we are in quarter-finals. We need to not focus so much on the opposition, we need to focus on our own strengths and putting in a powerful performance.
"The only experience I've had of winning an international tournament was the World Twenty20 and we very nearly went out in the group stage.
"Our form wouldn't suggest we had a chance but it is all to do with players coping with pressure of a particular day."
England bowler Stuart Broad: "We've not fired with all three of our disciplines in the same game yet. We can't say it's definitely our bowling or batting that has let us down. We have fired at different times, which you can't do in cricket.
"We should have defended 310 the other day and we walked off very angry with ourselves. It wasn't the sort of wicket you were going to get too many edges on but we didn't create enough pressure to make them make mistakes."

On Twitter:, external Stuart Broad tells @tmsproducer that he still believes England can win the World Cup.
Mr Pratik Patel:, external SA scores back to back 400+ & England team is more than happy with 300 in every match & are expected to win the World Cup.
Not many people are expecting anything from this England team.

"South Africa have reached 400 five times in ODIs (three times in their last eight matches), which equals India with the most 400-plus totals."
England all-rounder Luke Wright on Twitter:, external Fair to say Ed Joyce has got a bit of batting to do against South Africa. #goodgametowin.
South Africa's Faf du Plessis, who scored 109, says: "We did the basics really well. That's what we want to do as a top order. I'm really proud of the boys. The hard work up front is to get us into a position and then let the other guys have some fun.
"We know as a batting unit that if we get a good foundation we have some really good power hitters. It's great to bat with Hashim Amla. He's so experienced, and I can learn so much from him."
South Africa 411-4 (50 overs) after winning toss
Batsmen: Miller 46*, Roussow 61*
Fall of wickets: 12-1 (De Kock), 259-2 (Du Plessis 109), 299-3 (Amla 159), 301-4 (De Villiers 24)
Bowling figures: Mooney 7-2-52-1, Sorensen 6-0-76-0, K O'Brien 7-0-95-1, Dockrell 10-0-56-0, Stirling 10-0-6-0, McBrine 10-0-63-2
Alan Lewis
Ex-Ireland captain on BBC Test Match Special
"Ireland have just got to bat. That's an easy thing to say. It's a different ball game when you are facing Steyn, Abbott, Morkel and Tahir, but Ireland are a resilient bunch. They don't get over-fazed by things."
So Ireland, an easy task for you. All you have to do is get 412 to win.
The carnage ends with 24 runs coming off Kevin O'Brien's last over. It includes two sixes and two fours. If only Ireland had held on to those two early chances. Just to remind you, Amla was dropped on 10 and Du Plessis spilled on 19, both men went on to score hundreds.
Rilee Rossouw ends unbeaten on 61 from 30 balls, with David Miller 46 not out off 23 deliveries. An absolutely stunning performance from the South African batsmen.
I mocked one fan for dropping a shot. Well, some fella in a bright pink shirt does a lot better holding on to Miller's slog over the mid-wicket area. He responds by high-fiving everyone he can see. The supporter that is, not Miller.
South Africa then reach 400 with three off the second ball and a six off the third one.
Alan Lewis
Ex-Ireland captain on BBC Test Match Special
"Rossouw has had a good tournament. For someone who has just come into the team he'll be well pleased with his contribution. He's had full licence here, coming in at a wonderful time, and has hit the ball with great power."
Rilee Rossouw reaches his fifty, in only 27 balls. He is helped by a waist-high full toss, which is swatted away for four, before another full toss adds a further two.
Also in the over, David Miller had been going a bit slow by South African standards. With his 25 off 16 balls. He remedies the situation with successive fours.
Rossouw dances down the wicket to meet Andrew McBrine's delivery. And sends it for a low, flat six. From the next ball Roussow is again dancing on his toes and gets a bottom edge, which races away off a fast outfield.
Rossouw's 44 have come off only 23 deliveries. South Africa. Most exciting team in this World Cup? Maybe. Potential winners? They certainly have a chance with this batting line-up.
Max Sorensen gets an attempted yorker wrong, and it is dispatched over mid-wicket for six by Rilee Rossouw. To make it worse for the Irish fans, one of them in the crowd drops a dolly. Come on lad, you have to do better than that.
Ten off the over.
Former Australia all-rounder Andy Bichel:, external "Du Plessis 109 and Amla 159 sending another message of how important that platform at the top of order. SA here comes 400 again."
Four overs to go. Don't go anywhere. They are likely to be explosive.
