Man of the match Martin Guptill, who scored 105 in 100 balls for New Zealand: "It feels good. It has been a long time between drinks. I felt pretty good most of the summer but in Napier and then today it is getting better. We have a lot of belief and the way we are executing our skills is pleasing. We just need to keep that up over the next few weeks."

More from Corey Anderson on TMS: "It's quarter-finals now, we've got another break for a week but we still don't know who we're playing yet, so we'll see how those games go over the next couple of weeks."

  3. Player reactionpublished at 08:57 Greenwich Mean Time 13 March 2015

New Zealand all-rounder Corey Anderson on TMS: "We've got in the habit of losing too many wickets near the end, one of us needed to see it through, but it was good to see Timmy chipping in with those runs at the end. Gup played brilliantly with a run-a-ball hundred and it all paid off.

"Trent and Tim bowled outstandingly at the start, then we let it slip a little - I dropped Mahmadullah who batted unbelievably, and they probably feel they got 30 or 40 more than they expected to. We'll have to be harder on ourselves and execute our plans better."
