Taylor is shuffling off, looking resigned to his fate, but that looked pretty straight - there's no edge on the Snickometer, and the ball-tracker says it's hitting the top of middle stump. Gone.

Taylor goes for a big sweep across the line, Nasir is down on his knees beseeching the umpire to give him out lbw, which he does - but Taylor calls for a review.
Taskin, another Bangladeshi quick, who has decent pace, beats Ross Taylor's wild swinging bat with a straight up and down delivery. The right-hander is beginning to feel the pressure having taken just four singles from his last 11 balls faced. Corey Anderson is having no such problems, getting off the mark with a meaty six back over the bowler's head.
Dan Wellington: Rain related songs - anything by Wet Wet Wet or Kiss the Rain, It's raining Men, Why does it always rain on me?
Chris Painter: Running out of songs already? Clearly he's not the Rain King. (Counting Crows)
It is still looking very dull over in Sydney - that's both the cricket and the sky. England are well on top (with Afghanistan at 111-7 with just over 36 overs gone) but will they get the chance to hammer home their advantage? That will be decided by a pitch inspection at 08:30 GMT.
Nasir Hossain is brought on and the offie goes round the wicket to the hulking left-handed Corey Anderson. The new batsman takes an off stump guard. An lbw candidate? One from the over.

Test Match Special:, external The DJ at the SCG is rapidly running out of rain-themed songs... Any suggestions? (note: we're currently on 'I can't stand the rain')

"Anderson is a power batsman. He can play in numerous ways but he is generally regarded in this format of the game as someone who can finish. That is what he now has the chance to do."
Grant Elliott averages 33 with the bat and 27 with the ball in ODI cricket. A genuine world-class all-rounder? Certainly one of the most under-rated. He will be annoyed about that dismissal though. Corey Anderson, who whacks it a country mile, is the new man to the crease.
Hang on... maybe this match isn't ambling towards its inevitable conclusion after all. Grant Elliott leaves the pitch cursing himself as he smears a skimming catch to Taskin on the cover boundary. Next...

"6.7 an over isn't excessive for New Zealand. There are a couple of good players to come in - Luke Ronchi in particular springs to mind. There shouldn't be too many problems for them from here on."

Grant Elliott must have a table booked. He hits slow left-armer Taijul for successive fours to take New Zealand past 200. The belief seems to be draining from the Bangladeshis.
Rubel holds his head in his hands as he gets one to nip back and trouble Grant Elliott. Five dots and a single. The boy has wheels and is being given respect by the Black Caps.
Arnav: This rain sums up England's whole tournament.
Nick Bruzon: At this rate, England will leave the World Cup with just one win. Against Scotland. I knew it would be tough, but THIS bad?
It's been a good day so far for New Zealand, with Martin Guptill (105) and Ross Taylor finding form with the bat. They could not be better placed heading into the quarters. The sweat is pouring off a panting, bearded Grant Elliott on this stuffy evening in Hamilton, where humidity is around 80%. A steady start to the powerplay brings four singles.
Ebony Rainford-Brent
Ex-England batter on BBC Test Match Special
"You just sense now that Bangladesh are struggling. I think New Zealand will tick along nicely at this rate. Bangladesh are going to have to bowl in the block-hole and keep it tight."
New Zealand go into the powerplay needing 97 to win off 90 balls.
Rubel Hossain is the man tearing in for Bangladesh. The skiddy quick bowler took the prized scalps of Ian Bell and Eoin Morgan on his way to a four-wicket haul against England the other night. New Zealand are motoring along nicely now though... Grant Elliott finishing the over by guiding four through backward square. Thirteen in total from the over.
Andrew Samson
BBC Test Match Special statistician
"With the wicket of Guptill, Shakib Al Hasan is now Bangladesh's leading World Cup wicket-taker with 21, passing Abdur Razzak's 20."
