  1. Sixes from Sean Williamspublished at 02:43 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2015

Two sixes in the space of three balls from Sean Williams who is tucking in to Ashwin's bowling. First one is over deep square leg and four rows back, the second is almost where he placed his first a couple of overs ago down at cow corner as they say.

Up comes the 100 for Zimbabwe and there's hardly a cloud in the Auckland sky now. Which, as you'll hear shortly, is not quite the case over in Hobart.

Lovely stroke from Sean Williams for the day's first maximum. Classic slog sweep down on one knee away to deep mid wicket and easily in to the stands.

  10. Zim 82-3 (Taylor 45, Williams 15)published at 02:33 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2015

Another nice reverse sweep from Brendan Taylor, this time off Ravichandran Ashwin. Into the 40s now Taylor. He loves the shot so much, he plays it again. A bit squarer this time for four more.

Also just heard a blast of Mark Ronson and Bruno Mars's omnipresent Uptown Funk on the PA too. Lovely reverse paddle sweep from Brendan Taylor down to the short boundary. Good understanding of the angles on this ground.

"The DJ in Auckland is certainly doing his part to get the crowd in party mood as he plays a burst of '1234 Get On The Dance Floor' from Chennai Express, although the Indian fans don't need any excuse to bust out a few moves - I don't believe I've seen them sit down since the teams walked out, much to the stewards' dismay.

"Though it's a beautifully sunny day the light breeze is making the large number of Indian flags stand out far more as they sway in the wind and it's making a gorgeous Eden Park look incredibly colourful."

  15. Zim 64-3 (Taylor 31, Williams 11)published at 02:25 Greenwich Mean Time 14 March 2015

Still not exactly explosive stuff here at Eden Park. Brendan Taylor clearly wants to make a big impression on his last international outing and he's probably conscious there's not a huge amount of batting after him and Sean Williams.

Thomas in New Zealand: Why does his shirt say 'Yadaav' yet all major broadcasters insist on 'Yadav'? I know the latter is a popular Indian surname but the former appears on his shirt.

We've had all sorts of alternative names on shirts at this tournament - such as the UAE's Krishna Chandran, whose shirt bears his "other" name - Karate. Australia's T20 shirts used to features nicknames rather than surnames.
