Another man goes! These stumps are taking a battering as Jerome Taylor cleans out both Shaiman Anwar's middle and leg. Taylor looked pretty grumpy before the wicket-taking ball - now he allows himself a smile. Devastating stuff from the West Indies opening bowlers.

The skies above Napier - on the east coast of New Zealand's North Island - are gloomy - but not as gloomy as the mood in the UAE box one would imagine. Jason Holder closes his field around the batsman Patil, who swats one off to leg side to nick a run.

Antony Stewart: BRUTAL spell from Captain Holder. If I were a UAE batter, I'd stay indoors today.

UAE stop the rot in the final two balls of Jerome Taylor's over, adding three runs to a horror show of a scorecard. Swapnil Patil is the new batsman as UAE look to turn their tally - currently resembling a rugby league score - into something respectable. This could be all over in a couple of hours...

"This is exactly what West Indies needed today. Taylor pulled out the perfect delivery.

"We have to remember that the UAE are not fully professional. You sense at the moment this is really tough going for them."

Wow. Jerome Taylor thrashes one down, slicing Khurram Khan in half and then demolishing leg stump. Khan trudges off the field, shaking his head in disbelief.

Next up for the UAE is Shaiman Anwar, who has been their standout performer with the bat in this tournament. But he can't get off the mark as Holder picks up his cap after another successful over.

"I've been really impressed with Holder throughout this tournament. It was a big ask for a young captain to come in but he's conducted himself well. He's calm, scored runs and today he has got the ball in the right areas and caused the UAE batsmen lots of problems."

The umpire upstairs has a quick look and backs his man in the middle - Amjad Ali is out. Another fantastic delivery from Jason Holder, who would have cleaned out the stumps according to the technology.

Krishna Chandran - the karate kid - chops at a couple of aggressive Holder deliveries - and sends the second through to Smith at first slip. A big task for UAE just got a hell of a lot bigger....

Krishna Chandran, who is also known as Krishna Karate, is the new man at the crease. But he does not get a look in as Ali dominates the strike. Ali adds two more on to the total.

Excellent over from Jason Holder as the West Indies chase the victory that they need to stand any chance of reaching the quarter-finals. Pace, bounce, length - and a wicket maiden. What more can you ask for?

"That's the ball of the morning. Jason Holder is a very tall man. He's not outright quick and that one really bounced off a length. There wasn't much the batsman could do."

Breakthrough for the West Indies! Skipper Jason Holder leads by example, thundering down a delivery which skips up, almost catching Berenger by surprise. The UAE batsman gets the tiniest of flicks on the ball, which carries through to wicketkeeper Ramdin.

Yes! No! Wait! The UAE batsmen get themselves into a muddle when Ali pushes towards cover. Ali wants it, Berenger doesn't it, the latter scurrying back quickly. But the throw misses the stumps anyway. Shame, I love seeing the stumps light up when there is a hit...
