Fifties from Ashwell Prince and Karl Brown have put Lancashire in a commanding position at Old Trafford.

It's Lancashire's highest ever T20 total - they hit 10 sixes and 19 fours in their 20 overs.

Yorkshire will need the best of Aaron Finch, Glenn Maxwell, Jonny Bairstow et al to chase down this score, albeit on a wonderful batting track.

BBC Sport's Nabil Hassan at Taunton: "'Easy, easy, easy' chant the Gloucestershire travelling support and who can blame them? Hamish Marshall brings up the 100 and passes 50. They're coasting here."

Leicestershire are going to have to find an extra gear quickly if they are to have any chance of beating Durham.

Grant Elliott tries his best to up the run rate, but instead he sees his batting partner Ben Raine run out by Mark Stoneman for 19 going for a quick single.

The Foxes haven't found the boundary in more than five overs.

BBC Radio Derby commentator and former New Zealand seamer Iain O'Brien: "I had a quick chat with B-Mac earlier. His lad arrives tomorrow - and when he meets his dad at the airport tomorrow, he's now old enough to know exactly what his dad has done."

A really good last over from Shiv Thakor restricts Birmingham slightly, but Brendon McCullum is still there.

William Porterfield, judging the mood of the crowd remarkably well, takes a single from the first ball to get McCullum back on strike. The second and fourth deliveries go flying to the boundary.

A scooped four leaves McCullum on 150 with one over left. Luke Wright's record of 153, in the English domestic T20 competition, is about to be overtaken...

Brendon McCullum has just lost another partner, however, as Laurie Evans is bowled by Shiv Thakor for 16.

The New Zealand captain is onto 134, with 11 sixes.

BBC Sport's Adam Williams at the Ageas Bowl on Twitter: Jackson Bird takes a one-handed screamer at mid-off to dismiss Ben Wright for 12 off Arafat. @GlamCricket 65-2 off 8.

The experienced Jacques Rudolph remains at the crease for Glamorgan - he's 37 not out and key to the Welsh side's hopes of a good score.

BBC Radio London 94.9's Johnny Barran: "We've just had another bad over for Middlesex and, although I know they average 175 with the bat this year, when they're good with the bat they're very good - but when they are not good with the bat, they are too reliant on the top order."

Entering into the final five overs at Edgbaston, and things had quietened down - as quiet as they're going to get with Brendon McCullum at the crease.

Scott Elstone has been brought into the attack for the first time, and McCullum welcomes him by smashing him straight down the ground into the sightscreen. It then gets stuck and some poor minion has to go retrieve it.

Elstone's second ball is cut for four, but the rest of the over is gently knocked around for singles. Just the 13 from that over then...

BBC Sport's Nabil Hassan at Taunton:

"Gloucestershire duo Hamish Marshall and Michael Klinger fancy it out there this evening and they're making light work of Somerset's total. The hosts need to break this opening partnership, and quick."

Leicestershire have made a poor start as they attempt to chase 164 to win at Durham.

Jets seamer Usman Arshad picked up two wickets in two balls to reduce the visitors to 16-2, while John Hastings has conceded a miserly six runs from his first two overs.

Karl Brown may have departed for 69 off 35 balls but Alex Davies and Steven Croft have continued Lancashire's momentum. Four overs to go.

What with the scenes at Edgbaston, everything else seems rather sedate, as Sussex tick along at eight runs an over.

They've lost Chris Nash, caught by Matt Coles at fine leg for 10, but Matt Machan looks in good touch. He's currently on 21 from 11 deliveries.

  14. WICKETpublished at 19:22 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

Nottinghamshire have the crucial wicket of Tom Kohler-Cadmore, who is out for a brilliant 75.

The 20-year-old hit five sixes in his 43-ball knock, but couldn't clear Samit Patel on the boundary attempting to add another maximum from the bowling of Dan Christian.

Eoin Morgan is out for just eight runs and what a way to go! Zafar Ansari defiantly bowls him with some gusto, knocking a stump out of the ground to send the England one-day captain on his way back to the pavilion at The Oval.

BBC Radio Derby commentator and former New Zealand seamer Iain O'Brien: "Brendon McCullum goes to three figures with a six onto the roof of the Hollies Stand and everyone is on their feat applauding an explosive, destructive hundred.

"And there's still more than seven overs left. If you're tuning in for the first time, it's not always like this."

  17. Brown hits 27 in one overpublished at 19:17 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

Much like Brendon McCullum, Karl Brown is teeing off at Old Trafford. He's gets to 50 with three successive sixes of Rich Pyrah, and hits 27 off the over.

Lancashire are heading towards a mammoth total here.

  18. Century for McCullumpublished at 19:15 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

Unbelievable. From just 42 deliveries, with eight boundaries and eight sixes, Brendon McCullum has reached his century.

He's reached it in style, launching poor Alex Hughes for another six - incidentally, his figures of 4-0-45-0 look relatively economical compared to the other bowlers - but what an innings. His shots have gone flying all around the ground.

Birmingham still have six overs left - Varun Chopra may have just departed for an excellent 51, but as long as McCullum is there, Derbyshire will be nervous.

  19. Postpublished at 19:14 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

Brendon McCullum has reached 90 from 38 balls. He's given poor Chesney Hughes what can only be described as a mauling, taking 16 runs from his first over.

He then promptly swats Alex Hughes for a huge six to become the first Birmingham player to pass 90. Amazing hitting.
