Lancashire's spinners are doing the damage here. Arron Lilley gets in on the act, dismissing Jack Leaning, who is caught at long-on by Steven Croft.

Yorkshire may well be regretting their decision to stick Lancashire in after winning the toss.

However, in an interview with Sky Sports, Lancashire's director of cricket Ashley Giles has just admitted his side would have done the same!

Credit to Derbyshire, who have come out all guns blazing and had a real go at chasing Birmingham's mammoth total.

Scott Elstone has been the latest batsman to fall but not after launching Josh Poysden for two sublime sixes. He is well caught on the boundary by Laurie Evans trying to repeat the shot, before Tom Knight slashes his first ball for six.

"The end of Bairstow is possibly the end of Yorkshire's chances in this Roses match. The Lancashire crowd go bananas."

It looks like Charles certainly reckons that's that for the visitors!

Michael Carberry and James Vince have given Hampshire a flying start as they chase 182 to beat Glamorgan. Carberry has hit five fours and a six in his 36 off 20 balls.

Another huge six over long-on from Jonny Bairstow, but he's bowled by wily Lancashire skipper Steven Croft with the very next ball. That one was a little quicker and beat Bairstow for pace as he tried to steer it away on the off side.

As the England wicketkeeper goes for 26 off 16 balls, have Yorkshire's hopes gone with him?

Not the greatest start for Kent as Daniel Bell-Drummond falls in the first over of their chase. He tries to slog Oliver Robinson out of the ground but can only find Matt Machan in the deep.

"Andrew Gale didn't get his bat down in that run out. Gale had the momentum going and looked like he was going to bat through the innings. Those are moments that can change the game and he'll be disappointed with his running there."

Andrew Hodd is out for a duck now. Stephen Parry has 3-17 off 2.2 overs. Yorkshire in real trouble.

It's going to be an uphill struggle for Derbyshire now as they lose three quick wickets.

Chesney Hughes is the first to go, caught slogging William Porterfield into the deep, before the dangerous Wes Durston is stumped. Josh Poysden has bowled very well, recovering from being slapped for a big six to dismiss Durston.

Wayne Madsen is then bowled trying to reverse sweep, before Tom Poynton hits a huge six and is then caught out. This game is quickly slipping away from Derbyshire.

"Stephen Parry is not to be ignored by those in the corridors of power. He's played Big Bash cricket for Brisbane, so has plenty of experience, and he's played for England before. He's got the two big wickets of the Australians in his first over in this one too."

And Andrew Gale has just been run out for 35 to leave Lancashire in decent shape at Old Trafford.

BBC Radio Nottingham's Paul Johnson: "It's part frustration and part ego to try to hoist it out the ground. There's a lack of pace, but again Daryl Mitchell's quite clever and Alex Hales hasn't got hold of that and he's come up two or three yards short."

  11. Hales goes!published at 20:36 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

Having made a blistering start, Alex Hales is caught out for 47 attempting to heave Daryl Mitchell for another six.

It's a potential lifeline for Worcestershire, but Nottinghamshire still look firmly in control at Trent Bridge.

Jonny Bairstow has gone big. Very big. He's smashed Stephen Parry into a window of The Point - the huge red hospitality building at Old Trafford.

Let me tell you, that building is absolutely miles away from the square.

After a good start Surrey have lost two quick wickets - Tom Curran was clean-bowled by Harry Podmore for 16, before Jason Roy fell for 21 just three balls later.

The Brown Caps are taking this chase cautiously. They are only chasing 106 but they're not rushing to end the game. It's all rather sedate, actually.

Big wickets for Lancashire. Much needed, too. Spinner Stephen Parry strikes twice as dangerous duo Aaron Finch and Glenn Maxwell both fall in the same over.

Finch lofts a drive straight to Arron Lilley at long-off and the Australian goes for 33 off 19 balls, and then Maxwell edges behind for a single.

Advantage Lancashire, but in-form Jonny Bairstow is the next man in and he may have something to say about that.

Nottinghamshire look comfortable with Alex Hales and Riki Wessels at the crease.

Despite losing opener Michael Lumb early on, Worcestershire just haven't troubled them much. Hales has taken full advantage of Worcestershire's bowlers as he rockets two sixes and a four in a fantastic seventh over.

"I think 230 plus is a very good score - but this is a good wicket, so you can't rule Yorkshire out. If it sits up, it's going."

In fact, it would be a record run chase for Yorkshire, so it would be sweet for them to get home against their Roses rivals. Although, it would help the White Rose county's cause if Aaron Finch doesn't run himself out, as he nearly just did a few moments ago.

Hamish Rutherford's excellent innings has come to an end as he presses forward and is clean bowled by Ateeq Javid.

If Derbyshire somehow manage to chase this massive total down then Rutherford has given them the ideal start. He struck four boundaries and three sixes in his 21-ball innings. Enter Chesney Hughes...

  18. Durham beat Leicestershire by 38 runspublished at 20:25 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

Durham complete a comfortable win as Leicestershire's Jigar Naik is the last man out at Chester-le-Street.

John Hastings and Usman Arshad finish with three wickets apiece for the Jets, who move back into the top four in the North Group as it stands.

The Foxes' run chase never really got going, as only Tom Wells (27) made more than 20 for the visitors.

  19. Postpublished at 20:24 British Summer Time 3 July 2015

Andrew Gale is dropped at short third man by Stephen Parry, who was awarded his county cap by Lancashire before the match. It's one he would expect to take.

Disappointment for Lancashire, and even more follows when Aaron Finch just makes it home after dashing for a second run.

BBC Sport's Adam Williams at the Ageas Bowl: "A very commendable effort from Glamorgan, who finish on 181-7 having been only 76-3 at the halfway point.

"Jacques Rudolph showed off all the shots in his bag with 77, before Craig Meschede added some lusty blows down the ground late on to add 35.

"Hampshire will have to battle hard to chase this down."
