  1. SA 151-4 (need 86 off 114 balls)published at 31 overs

Farhaan Behardien is the new batsman. With the five bowlers behind him, South Africa's dominance suddenly looks to be built on a base of meringue. It could crack at any moment.

The new batsman averages 31 in 41 previous ODIs. He's not the best, if we're not being too unkind.

A lot now rests with Abraham Benjamin at the other end.

"People think Moeen Ali is not that great a bowler and can whack him but then they get out. He's got great character."

  3. Women's ODI: SA v Englandpublished at 14:25 Greenwich Mean Time 14 February 2016

    Eng 168-4 (38.1 overs) - target 197

Georgia Elwiss has reached her maiden ODI fifty from only 53 deliveries. At the other end, Heather Knight is anchoring England's run chase with 50 from 84. With 29 needed from 11.5 overs, is it England's to lose from here?

"Brainless! That's unbelievable. Amla worked all that time to get into a good position and he's thrown it away and given England a lifeline. It's pressure."

Amla st Buttler b Moeen 59 (SA 147-4)

Remember when I said Hashim Amla had never been dismissed by an England spinner in 17 ODIs? Well, scratch that.

It's 18th time lucky when Moeen pushes one wide, Amla goes after it, misses it and Jos Buttler superbly completes a stumping.

"Amla has had to work really hard so it's been a good innings. He's not given his wicket away and that's very important.

"Of course it helps batting with AB de Villiers. He's a proper number four, unlike our number four."

  7. SA 143-3 (need 94 off 126 balls)published at 29 overs

Rubber wrists from Hashim Amla, who walks across his off stump and turns the ball through the leg side for two. He's toying with England now - almost playing a game of 'where shall I dab a single next?'

    Cruise. Control. Engaged.

"England are trying things, they've got Stuart Broad bowling, but look like they'll need a mistake from one of these batsmen."

50 for Hashim Amla (off 85 balls)published at 27.3 overs

    SA 135-3

A hop, a skip and a jump of the heart when Hashim Amla walks down the track, misjudges one which bounces a little and then turns the ball round the corner for the two runs which bring up his 29th ODI half-century.

  12. SA 131-3 (target 237)published at 27 overs

Stuart Broad has the look of a Leicester fan when he tries some variations and gets whipped through the leg side for four. Sickening for the bowler. And the Foxes.

"This has been a vital partnership. They have steadied the ship and know they don't have to do anything reckless and gift England a wicket."

  14. SA 123-3published at 26 overs

In 17 previous ODIs against England, Hashim Amla has never been dismissed by a spinner. So Moeen Ali is fighting a losing battle, even if he does send down a maiden.

  16. SA 123-3 (target 237)published at 25 overs

You get the sense that AB de Villiers could put this game to bed whenever he wants. Stuart Broad is trying to limit the damage by bowling wide of off stump, and he's incredulous when he's called for a wide. Negative tactics, let's be honest. When he straightens up a touch, he runs one past Hashim Amla's outside edge.

The 100 partnership is now up too - via another AB de Villiers boundary.

Stuart Broad might have got AB out more times than any other bowler in Test cricket, but De Villiers is not on the ODI list. That list is topped by New Zealand's Jamie How, who Broad has dismissed five times in 10 ODI knocks. Four men follow How - Umar Akmal, Dwayne Smith, Shane Watson and Ross Taylor.
