"That could be the shot of the day - straight down the ground off Shrubshole. That's why I gave up bowling. There's not too many things worse than seeing a shot like that fly over your head."

"What a huge shot by Sultana - a six off the number one bowler in the world! She's really showing something today."

A change of ends for Anya Shrubsole under the floodlights - and Sultana goes aerial, smashing her for a straight six!

They may be about to lose this match, but Bangladesh's players in the dug-out are absolutely beaming.

  4. Ban 102-4published at 18 overs

Bangladesh are into three figures - for only the eighth time in T20 international cricket. Might they have half an eye on their highest ever total of 115? Jenny Gunn's over is milked for a total of four singles.

Journalist Raf Nicholson: Bangladesh aren't going to get anywhere near this, but this still isn't great from #Eng, external with the ball - every run counts against their NRR.

  6. ouch!

    Ban 99-4published at 17.1 overs

For the second time in successive overs, Joty turns her back on a throw to the stumps and is hit - this time on the boot. Ouch indeed. This time, the Bangladesh physio is coming on for a look. Sultana whips her pad off while the physio brings out the magic spray. Perhaps the moral lesson is to "watch the ball"...

"Sultana thinks it's six and can't believe it - she's turned round to the umpire and said: 'How is that not six?!'"

  8. Ban 98-4 (Brunt 4-1-17-1)published at 17 overs

Brunt's spell is ended as Sultana goes for a huge hit over mid-wicket, it's a first-bounce four which was a whisker away from going for six - and it's the fifty stand. Thepretically, Bangladesh need another 56 from the last 18 balls, but I think they can be pleased with their batting efforts.

  9. ouch!

    Ban 94-4published at 16.3 overs

"Get these two in earlier," urges Charles Dagnall on TMS - Bangladesh are closing on a fifty stand here, as Sultana cracks he first ball of Brunt's last over for another four. But then she winces in pain as, trotting into her crease to complete a single, a throw from the deep hits her in the lower back.

  10. Ban 88-4published at 16 overs

A confident wristy flick to long leg brings keeper Sultana four off the recalled Sciver, while Salma also finds the boundary as she threads one between extra cover and mid-off. Plenty of positives from Bangladesh in this innings, not least the number of boundaries they've hit - 11 fours so far, compared to England's 15 fours and a six.

"We always knew the score England posted was going to be a stretch for Bangladesh - it would have been a massive ask for any team - but I think they'd like to curb some of these shots that are coming through now, to put a lid on things."

  12. Ban 77-4 (target 154)published at 15 overs

Pace gives way to spin as Hazell returns for her last over, Salma tries a reverse sweep but can't connect and the ball goes through the keeper's legs for a bye. Three more singles mean Hazell takes her cap with figures of 4-0-20-1.

  13. Ban 73-4 (Shrubsole 3-0-17-1)published at 14 overs

Edwards has her two main bowlers in action here, but Salma connects with a pull shot against Shrubsole, that's away for four, while the Somerset quick also strays with a wide. Salma has worked her way to 19 from 13 balls, but even the seven or eight an over Bangladesh are taking at the moment won't be enough.

  14. Ban 65-4 (target 154)published at 13 overs

Salma helps a full toss from Brunt away for four, but they still need an unlikely 89 from 42 balls.

Let's put this game in context - England are a fully professional side, Bangladesh aren't, and are woefully inexperienced at the top level. But I think they can be fairly proud of how they've fared today.

"Bangladesh have never scored over 120, a run a ball. Their highest ever total is 115. They've had plenty of good wins against teams like Ireland and had a really good result against Sri Lanka, but they need to play more games. To play a bunch of games in a short time here is going to be invaluable for them."

  16. ouch!

    Ban 59-4published at 12.1 overs

Brunt back into the attack - and Sultana is struck a glancing blow on the back of the helmet as she tries to get out of the way of a bouncer from the firebrand Yorkshire pace bowler and the ball goes for four leg byes.

That will hurt... her partner goes to check she's OK. Let's hope all is well - if you weren't with us earlier, Pakistan opener Javeria Khan has been released from hospital after she was hit by a bouncer in yesterday's game.

  17. Ban 55-4 (Sultana 8, Salma 7)published at 12 overs

Knight, kicking up her heels as she jogs in to bowl round the wicket, and Salma looks to have picked out a set of pads which are a different colour to those of her team-mates' - I suppose St Patrick's Day is an appropriate day for several different shades of green to be on display. Sultana and Salma pick up two singles apiece from Knight's over.

  18. Ban 51-4 (target 154)published at 11 overs

Salma Khatun is off the mark slightly fortuitously as an edge past the keeper disappears for four.

"Charlotte Edwards has got a bullet arm actually, and she did really well to get the ball straight on the stumps. It was out by a good 10 inches. Well done to Rumana Ahmed though, she played really positively."

Rumana run out (Edwards) 19 (Ban 46-4)

Gone! Edwards, by her own admission, is not the most nimble in the field these days but the throw was perfect and the diving Rumana is sent on her way. Great celebrations as the skipper is congratulated.
