  1. Third umpirepublished at 10.3 overs

Next ball, another run-out chance as Charlotte Edwards hits the stumps from short fine leg...

  2. Ban 45-3published at 10.2 overs

Keeper Sarah Taylor had taken a glove off, and only gets a fingertip to the throw as it hits the stumps - but Sultana had made her ground in time.

  3. Third umpirepublished at 10.1 overs

A good arm from Katherine Brunt in the deep as Bangladesh go for a second run - and risk a run-out...

  4. Ban 43-3 (target 154)published at 10 overs

Off-spin from both ends as England vice-captain (and BBC Sport columnist) Heather Knight is into the attack. Rumana Ahmed tries an ambitious reverse-paddle but only succeeds in falling over. A more orthodox lofted drive brings her a single, and new batter Nigar Sultana - also known as Joty - is off the mark with a well-struck four through extra cover.

Bangladesh need 111 from 60 balls to pull off what might be, from here, the biggest shock in the history of women's cricket.

"A solid catch because it was hit pretty well. Sciver stayed low and had to turn to her left very quickly. That's unfortunate for Bangladesh, Fargana was starting to take the game to England a little. You wonder what kind of depth they're going to have."

    Fargana c Sciver b Hazell 19 (Ban 38-3)

Fargana tries to force the pace - and having seen her partner club Hazell for a four over mid-on, an attempted slog-sweep is pouched low by Sciver at mid-wicket.

"You do feel England have got their bowling sorted for this tournament. In Shrubshole and Hazell you've got the number one and two bowlers in the T20 rankings. With the ball they're a very good outfit."

  8. Ban 32-2 (Fargana 18, Rumana 12)published at 8 overs

Natalie Sciver back on as England continue to rotate their bowlers - they still have a couple more options up their sleeves, with Heather Knight and Danielle Wyatt ready to send down some spin if required. Rumana knocks a powerful four over the bowler's head - but for those of you Bangladesh fans holding out for an unlikely victory, the required rate is now up above 10 an over.

  9. Ban 24-2 (target 154)published at 7 overs

England have the two top-ranked T20 bowlers, external in tandem as they turn to the off-spin of Danielle Hazell. She's quickly through her over, three singles from it. Fargana is leading the way with 17 from 20 balls.

  10. Javeria released from hospitalpublished at 12:01 Greenwich Mean Time 17 March 2016

Pakistan's Javeria Khan has been released from hospital after being struck on the jaw during Wednesday's Women's World Twenty20 game against West Indies.

The opener was hit on the hand by a bouncer from Shamilia Connell that then hit the grille of her helmet, and she was carried off on a stretcher.

The 27-year-old was discharged from hospital with a broken thumb and is awaiting further medical reports. West Indies won the match by four runs.

  11. Ban 21-2 (Fargana 16, Rumana 3)published at 6 overs

All-rounder Rumana Ahmed is the new batter, she helps herself to a two and a single, while Fargana blasts a full toss through mid-wicket for four. Shrubsole wipes her face with her shirt collar, she was disappointed to let that one go.

"That was all business wasn't it? Shrubshole comes on, and with the first ball gets a wicket. When you need one you can turn to her. It was a good move from Edwards to bring her in, looking to stem that Bangladesh momentum."

  13. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 5.1 overs

    Rahman c Edwards b Shrubsole 2 (Ban 14-2)

Shrubsole back, and it brings England a wicket - Rahman, less than convincing against the quicks, gives the England skipper an easy catch at mid-off and she makes no mistake.

  14. Ban 14-1 (Fargana 12 from 16 balls)published at 5 overs

Brunt's off after two overs, it's Jenny Gunn into the attack, and Bangladesh have their first boundary as Fargana smears a sweep for four. Pulling the ball across the line is clearly Fargana's method of choice, as it brings her a couple more twos.

"Rather than going straight to gear 10, I'd like to see Bangladesh move around the crease a bit more, taking singles where they can. Even if they picked up three or four an over just by nudging it around it's still momentum, and that way you start to unsettle the bowlers."

  16. Ban 5-1 (target 154)published at 4 overs

An early bowling change as England turn to Natalie Sciver's medium pace. Just three singles from the over as Tammy Beaumont is kept busy down at fine leg. Fargana tries a heave over the top... and it's safely just over the head and out of the reach of Jenny Gunn running back from mid-on.

  17. Ban 3-1 (Brunt 2-1-1-1)published at 3 overs

With Bangladesh a spin-dominated side, I'm not sure how often they get to face bowlers as quick as England's. Fargana guides a single to fine leg, plenty of enthusiasm from the bowler Brunt who is showing no sign of the back injury which curtailed her tour of South Africa. Rahman plays and misses, and having needed 7.7 runs per over at the start of the innings, Bangladesh are progressing at a sedate one run per over.

  20. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 2 overs

    Ban 2-1 (target 154)

Fargana Hoque in at three, all right-handers from Bangladesh so far. But it's the other opener, Ayasha Rahman, facing the pace of Anya Shrubsole, with keeper Sarah Taylor up to the stumps.

Shrubsole is currently the world's number one-ranked bowler, external in women's T20 internationals - and as we explained earlier, has an awesome record in Asia. Rahman is off the mark with a single, but then Fargana is dropped by Danielle Wyatt at square leg - a completely straightforward chance, it came straight at her. Wyatt is normally such a reliable fielder, so that's a surprise.
