  • Eng women to face Australia in semi-finals

  1. Aus 59-1published at 6 overs

Bumrah wears a questionable moustache on his face. Like the Friends episode when Chandler tries to copy Richard. Almost as if he's just discovered he can grow a soup strainer. Regardless, he's sent down another good over. Only six from the past two. Powerplay complete.

  2. Aus 56-1published at 5.3 overs

It's better from India, the crowd can feel it too. Bumrah back, the in-field much tighter. Finch, who could play Desperate Dan in the live-action movie, is stinging the hands of the covers.

  4. Aus 55-1 (Nehra 3-0-16-1)published at 5 overs

Mohali chants for India as David Warner arrives. Looking at a replay of the wicket, Khawaja had the wind-up of a baseball player. If he'd middled that, it would have gone to Mumbai. Very good over from Nehra, only two from it and the wicket of Khawaja.

"India desperately needed that. The left-armer Nehra had actually caused Khawaja a few problems. There are some shoulder shuffles starting in the crowd now."

    Khawaja c Dhoni b Nehra 26 (Aus 54-1)

Listen to the roar! How India needed this wicket. Ashish Nehra, who has been the best of a bad Indian bunch, gets the ball up in the area that Usman Khawaja can't resist. Big drive, thick edge, pouched by MS Dhoni.

  7. Women's World Twenty20published at 15:18

    England 39-0 (4 overs) v Pakistan

Captain Charlotte Edwards hit two of the first three balls of the match for four, becoming the first player (male or female) to pass 2,500 T20 international runs - while Tammy Beaumont has smashed three successive fours. England going well early on.

  9. Aus 53-0 (1-0-6-6-5wd-1wd-2-1)published at 4 overs

22 off the over. Pace has been whacked, spin has been whacked. Are India being whacked out of their own party? Where does Dhoni go from here?

Seetohul: That is why India have 'asked' for spinning pitches. Their seamers are quite average and we will see that today.

Francis Edwards: Khawaja has become the sort of player I thought Jos Buttler might, however Buttler is frustratingly inconsistent.

  11. Aus 50-0published at 3.4 overs

The wheels are off for India here. Twice down the leg side from Ashwin, both called wide, the first going to the boundary. 50 partnership in 22 balls.

"Ashwin's not a big turner of the ball anyway but I don't think there'll be much here from him on this wicket. A lot of bowlers like this defensive line of coming round the wicket and into the legs, but Finch just hits through it. He's gone big here."

  13. 6 runs

    Aus 38-0published at 3.4 overs

Fetch it! The first maximum of the night, over long-on from Finch. Whallop! And again! Over the leap of the fielder in the same area, just evading the leap.

  14. Aus 31-0 (Khawaja 25 from 14)published at 3 overs

Indeed. R Ashwin. Will it turn?

"I thought Nehra could be a sticky customer for the first couple of overs but Khawaja, the way he moves his feet is brilliant."

  16. Aus 31-0published at 3 overs

India look a bit shellshocked, but at least their fans are managing to make some noise at the end of the over. Time for some spin?

Now Finch is in on the act, chewing his gum and savaging a wide one from Nehra through point. It's gone pretty quiet in Mohali. Deck looks a belter.
