"Good batting again. Lanning knew exactly what she was doing, knew where the maximum reward would come from."
Marsh to bowl her final over. She's been really good so far at keeping a lid on this Australia innings, but it's threatening to bubble over now as she errs with a full toss and Lanning smacks her third boundary.

"You imagine at this point Australia will be targeting that 150 mark or more, maybe 160."
Jenny Gunn, a bustling right-arm medium-pacer, is the fifth bowler used by England. Gunn gets a bit too straight and that allows Lanning to effortlessly paddle her behind square leg for four. Australia looking good at the halfway mark.

"They have faced each other a lot of times these two teams and the players. There are no secrets in this match."
"Come on ladies!" exhorts Sarah Taylor behind the stumps. England looking to put the squeeze on here, and that's a very good over from Marsh, just one single scored off it.

"Meg Lanning modelled herself on Ricky Ponting. He is the player she has always held up as her model."
Captain Edwards turns to her best bowler, Anya Shrubsole, to try and end this partnership early doors. Lanning guides her nicely past point for four. It's not happening for Shrubbers so far...

"Charlotte Edwards recognises to win this game you have to get these two out and that is why Anya Shrubsole is coming back."

“It is a really disappointing crowd for a semi-final. This is a 40,000 seater stadium and there is barely 100 here.”
So Ellyse Perry joins Meg Lanning at the crease. Plenty of work still to do for England as these two are probably Australia's classiest batters.

"It is a big wicket because Healy was looking extremely fluent. I like Laura Marsh because she mixes it up brilliantly, she is doing a fine job."
Healy lbw b Marsh 25 (Aus 50-2)
Big wicket! Healy has scoring at a good lick but she's back in the sheds now, trying to play a reverse sweep and failing to make contact. The ball thuds into her pads and that's out. England fighting back.
Captain Meg Lanning is the new batter. Healy is going like a rocket here and finds another boundary with a delicate dab to third man.

"England definitely needed that. Villani, if she gets going can be really dangerous. Sciver rolled her wrist a little on it and it just straightened."
Villani lbw b Sciver 19 (Aus 41-1)
Well, Sciver doesn't seem to be any worse for wear - in fact that knock has positively improved her. She sends down a nice straight delivery, Villani looks to play across the line and misses, and that's a simple decision for Umpire Ravi. Important breakthrough for England.

"Sciver will probably be alright but it will give her a nasty shock. She is smiling, I think Katherine might owe her a drink for that."
