Remember, there's another inspection at 15:15. Last time they were out there, the umpires confirmed that the outfield is "wet". Which is like telling us that David Boon "likes beer".
Rich, does that mean there is a question hanging over whether or not you will acquire a dog?

Rich Lord: My wife (born in Zim) and I have decided that if we ever get a dog, it'll be called Heath Streak. Always said In full.
The grey clouds hovering over Lord's at the moment are like spaceships ready to obliterate it. That reminds me, Independence Day 2 is out soon.

I currently can't see anything, but the umpires should now be wiping cake crumbs from their mouths and trotting down the pavilion steps.
Naming your dog after a cricketer is a solid option. A mate of mine named his dog Sydney, after Sydney Barnes. Aggers has got dogs called Tino and Bracken.

I've long suspected that our cricket live pages do not contain enough pictures of dogs. It's time to put that right...

I once read about an ex-West Indian player who (it was reported) used old boxes as ashtrays for "exotic" cigarettes. Seems rather unhygenic. And probably not in the MCC textbook.

Edging nearer to that 14:30 inspection, the time when the umpires will shuffle out of the pavilion, look at the ground and say "yes, it is wet".
'Silva' is currently trending on Twitter. I suspect that might be something to with David currently playing for Spain against Czech Republic, rather than Kaushal, who has just done this....
