  1. Powerplay done at Old Traffordpublished at 18:54 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Lancashire 47-2 (6 overs) v Yorkshire

That's the end of the Powerplay at Old Trafford, and one that slightly belonged to Yorkshire you feel with the two big wickets of Martin Guptill and Alviro Petersen.

However, their IPL and England superstar Jos Buttler is still waiting in the wings.

    Sussex v Surrey (19:00 BST)

At Hove, Surrey have won the toss and elected to bat first on a flat deck.

Sussex have plenty of firepower, with Chris Nash and Luke Wright opening, followed by Ross Taylor, Matt Machan and Chris Jordan.

Surrey's batting line-up isn't too shabby either. A top three of Jason Roy, Steve Davies and Kumar Sangakkara looks okay doesn't it?!

Sussex: Nash, Wright (c), Brown, Taylor, Machan, Wiese, Jordan, Beer, Briggs, Shahzad, Mills.

Surrey: Roy, Davies, Sangakkara, Ansari, Wilson, S Curran, T Curran, Burns, Pillans, Batty.

  3. Intervalpublished at 18:52 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Kent 144-7 (20 overs) v Gloucestershire

A laboured finish to their innings from Kent, despite Alex Blake's run-a-ball 24 not out. He managed just one four during that time.

With Matt Coles run out for 8 trying to attempt a second run from Andrew Tye's final delivery, Gloucestershire can be well pleased with their efforts. The Australian bowler has fine figures of 3-18.

On paper, it's the visitors' to lose, but we've already seen it's not the easiest wicket to score on, so you just never know.

  4. Somerset claw backpublished at 18:49 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Somerset v Essex 166-6 (19 overs)

Essex were threatening to get away from Somerset a bit late-on in their innings at Taunton.

But, Ryan ten Doeschate (47) and Ashar Zaidi (31) have fallen in consecutive deliveries to Jamie Overton after a promising partnership.

  5. Lancashire lose anotherpublished at 18:48 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Lancashire 31-2 (4.2 overs) v Yorkshire

Hmm, Lancashire's start isn't looking too rosy now. Alviro Petersen miscues off Steven Patterson and can only send the ball high into the air.

Jonny Bairstow takes a simple catch behind the stumps. No Jos Buttler though, Liam Livingstone comes in at four.

  6. Team news from Edgbastonpublished at 18:46 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Birmingham Bears v Durham

Former England man Ian Bell will lead the Birmingham Bears into action for their first game in the T20 Blast since May 27.

Visitors Durham, who have been put into bat, have named England prospect Scott Borthwick in their team.

The Durham all-rounder has already scored five first-class centuries in 2016.

Birmingham Bears: Chopra, Bell (c), Porterfield, Evans, Ronchi (wkt), Woakes, Clarke, Javid, Patel, Hannon-Dalby, Poysden.

Durham: Stoneman (c), Mustard (wkt), Clark, Richardson, Pringle, Coughlin, Jennings, Collingwood, Borthwick, Arshad, McCarthy.

  7. wicket

WICKET Moeen (c Rossington b Stone 9)published at 18:46 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Northants v Worcestershire 26-2 (3.5 overs)

Moeen Ali's return to Worcestershire colours doesn't last long.

Caught behind off the bowling of Oli Stone for single figures and off 12 balls too.

A tricky start for the visitors at Northampton.

  8. wicket

WICKET Carberry (c Cosker b Hogan 10)published at 18:45 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Hampshire 30-1 (3.2 overs) v Glamorgan

Well Glamorgan will be a bit happier now that they've broken up this partnership. Michael Carberry is the first to go and it was all looking so promising!

James Vince and Carberry had been enjoying a fine few overs on a gorgeous night in Cardiff with the former hitting three fours from the opening three overs while Carberry worked a decent 10 of his own prior to Dean Cosker catching him from Michael Hogan.

The hosts will breathe a sigh of relief..

  9. wicket

WICKET Guptill (c Lees b Bresnan 13)published at 18:42 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Lancashire 24-1 (3.1 overs) v Yorkshire

Oh my goodness, that is a stunning catch from Yorkshire captain Alex Lees! Martin Guptill hits Tim Bresnan miles into the air, but Lees takes the ball running backwards from mid-off.

Huge wicket for the White Rose.

  10. Guptill ready to gopublished at 18:40 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Lancashire 24-0 (3 overs) v Yorkshire

You can tell Lancashire opener Martin Guptill really wants to open his arms at Old Trafford.

But Steven Patterson gives the New Zealander nothing to hit in a third over which goes for just five.

Even stevens at the start of this one.

  11. Is it really summer?published at 18:39 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Kent 121-5 (17 overs) v Gloucestershire

It's getting very dark here, which can't have helped Fabian Cowdrey fend off an unintended beamer from Matt Taylor.

Another free-hit is signaled and this time it's Cowdrey who is 'caught' on the boundary. The batsmen run through for a single.

  12. Ali still standingpublished at 18:39 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Northants v Worcestershire 13-1 (2 overs)

Moeen Ali is still going for Worcestershire at Northampton, who lost big striking Tom Kohler-Cadmore in the opening over to Rory Kleinveldt for just 2.

Moeen going along at more or less a run a ball so far.

  13. Ashar gives it some long handlepublished at 18:32 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Somerset v Essex 126-4 (16 overs)

It's been a stuttering innings from Essex so far, but Ashar Zaidi's doing his best to get them up to a respectable score at Taunton.

A six and then a four off Jamie Overton produces their best over so far with 12 runs.

  14. 100 up for Kentpublished at 18:32 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Kent 108-5 (16 overs) v Gloucestershire

The 100 is up at long last for Kent, but Gloucestershire are still very much in the box seat.

It's Fabian Cowdrey and Alex Blake who are trying to repair the hosts' innings after the flurry of wickets and the latter is reprieved when he is caught, but from a free-hit delivery. Benny Howell finishes his four overs with excellent figures of 4-25.

  15. 6 runs

Max in the first over!published at 18:32 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Lancashire 13-0 (1 over) v Yorkshire

What a fine start for Lancashire! Martin Guptill clips Joe Root's first ball of the innings for four before Alviro Petersen finishes it with a six, swept over mid-wicket.

All indications suggest this could be a 200 pitch. Let's hope so eh!

  16. 18:30 games getting under waypublished at 18:28 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

Okay, three more of our matches are about to start. Glamorgan v Hampshire, Northants v Worcestershire and of course the Roses match at Old Trafford.

  18. wicket

WICKET Northeast (c Cockbain b Howell 35)published at 18:24 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Kent 90-5 (13.3 overs) v Gloucestershire

Another Kent wicket goes down and they are in real strife here at Beckenham.

Of course, as soon as you say a batsman needs to stay there, they get out. Sam Northeast is the man to go as Ian Cockbain clings on to the catch to give Benny Howell a second wicket.

  19. 6 runs

First six of nightpublished at 18:23 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Somerset v Essex 105-4 (14 overs)

Taken a long time to arrive at Taunton, but finally Essex have cleared the ropes.

All-rounder Ashar Zaidi brings up the 100 in spectacular fashion off Roelof van der Merwe's slow variations.

  20. Low-scoring game in prospectpublished at 18:20 British Summer Time 3 June 2016

    Kent 91-4 (13 overs) Gloucestershire

All the signs are this is going to be a pitch where batsmen will have to grind out their runs.

You feel home captain Sam Northeast, 34 not out, has to stay there if Kent are going to get a decent score, with Gloucestershire well on top at the moment.
