If you've missed the special on the spot-fixing scandal that has aired on TMS during the lunch break, you can listen again via the Stumped podcast, which you can find right here.

Michael S-J: Hafeez might really regret dropping Cook. It was a very easy chance too. Got to take those at test level.
England lost Alex Hales early in their reply and were fortunate to see Alastair Cook dropped on 22, but the hosts have still rumbled on at nearly six an over.

This is the sixth time in Test cricket, where the first three bowlers have been left-armers. India once before and Sri Lanka twice.
Did you miss the first hour? You missed England rattling through the Pakistan lower order.

You look at that score of 339 and you think England will get to that in about 100, maybe 95 overs. So that's why it will be an exciting match. Pakistan will keep attacking, England will keep playing strokes.

This morning also saw the return to Lord's, with both bat and ball, of Mohammad Amir. On Test Match Special right now, you can hear a look back at the spot-fixing scandal of 2010.

I had a sense England could have lost one or two more had Hafeez held on to that catch. Now they'll have a nice lunch, then Pakistan will keep trying to go for the glory wickets.
Just joining us?
You've missed England taking the final four Pakistan wickets for 29 runs after dangerous wicktekeeper Sarfraz Ahmed looked like taking the game away from them.
Two for Chris Woakes, six in total for him, and two for Stuart Broad.
In reply to 339, England lost Alex Hales, but Alastair Cook - dropped on 22 - and Joe Root have since rattled along to 64-1.
England 64-1 (11 overs)
Not out batsmen: Cook 35, Root 23
Fall of wicket: 8-1 (Hales 6)
Bowling: Amir 6-0-33-0, Rahat 4-0-27-1, Wahab 1-0-4-0.
Pakistan first innings: 339 all out (Misbah 114, Shafiq 73, Woakes 6-70)

It might quieten down in the afternoon. But it might not the way these sides play. The day and a session so far has been outstanding. It's what Test cricket is all about. The pitch is a bit slow but it's a good Test wicket. It's been prepared to last five days.
That's the break, the end of what was England's session. They mopped up the Pakistan innings for 339 then raced to 64-1 at a rate of almost six runs an over. Mohammad Amir returned to Lord's, but didn't do a great deal. Judging by the reaction of the crowd, it is no big deal.

NZ could have an all left-arm seam attack. Boult, Wagner, McCleneghan, Anderson as all-rounder. Would mean leaving Southee out though.

Still Amir, striving for his first Test wicket in six years after seeing Cook dropped. He's round the wicket, but the runs continue to flow, Root taking yet another boundary to third man. Cook back on strike, screens moved, field changes. Probably no time for another over.

Cook's just going through one of those opening batting periods where you go out there with the same mindset that you always do, and then you look at the scoreboard and you think 'wow, I'm going along nicely'.
The triumvirate of left-arm pacers is complete with the appearance of Wahab Riaz, who induces a half-leave, half-play from Cook, only for the result to turn out the same. Four to third man. That's the 50 partnership in only 46 balls. Misbah, peering through his whiskers, ponders his options like a diplomat in particularly tricky negotiations. Maybe two overs to go before lunch.

Paddy Gilbert: Didn't realise I was watching a Twenty20. Motoring along
Kendall: Is Cook itching for an ODI recall?
Peter Collins: England going at not a bad ODI run rate. They do know we have nearly four days to go in this match right?
Another edge from Cook, this time all along the ground and through the slips for yet another boundary, the 11th of this England innings (out of 55 runs). Amir, who looks like he may have added a touch of copper to his dark mop, is currently having a chastening return to Test cricket.
