    Aguilleira b Marsh 4 (WI 70-3)

Merissa Aguilleira has been trying to keep the pace of the innings going, cutting and running ones and twos - but Marsh is rewarded for her accuracy as she rearranges Aguilleira's furniture. (To go with the wine racks and coffee tables we learned earlier that Marsh has constructed for the house she shares with Lydia Greenway).

Everything about Sophie Ecclestone looks natural and she has excellent control as well.

  3. WI 68-2 (target 150)published at 20 overs

Ecclestone (whose action is "a carbon copy of Daniel Vettori" according to Stephan Shemilt on TMS) in for her sixth over, Aguilleira is quick to snaffle a single to short fine leg.

Remember, with Taylor retired hurt, the Windies may effectively be three down.

  4. WI 66-2published at 19 overs

You can't afford to bowl anything loose to Dottin - she certainly does give it a whack, as Lydia said, crashing Marsh through the covers for four. Tammy Beaumont dons some shin pads and a helmet to go in at short leg. England looking to keep their foot on the Windies jugular.

It will be interesting to see how Dottin goes about this. She will want to give it a whack.

  7. WI 59-2published at 18 overs

The new batter is wicketkeeper Merissa Aguilleira, a former captain and a very useful cricketer. Ecclestone completes her over, and to add to the genuine intrigue at this game, the yellow ambulance has returned to the Trelawny Stadium.

It was a very curious shot from Quintyne, a very full delivery from Sophie Ecclestone and Quintyne succeeded in yorking herself.

It seems an age ago since Ecclestone started her previous over when it was 53-0. Now they have lost two wickets and Stafanie Taylor has retired hurt.

    Quintyne b Ecclestone 25 (WI 59-2)

Whether or not the Windies have been spooked by the swift departures of Matthews (caught) and Taylor (retired hurt), they've lost a little focus as Quintyne aims a big heave at Ecclestone and is bowled. Lifeline for England?

Incidents like that can change the momentum in a game. Both sides are distracted, you are out of your zone, you are out of your game place.

There's a funny atmosphere around the place, as though there is a distraction in the middle.

So, it's Deandra Dottin - who I believe we're contractually obliged to refer to as "the big-hitting Deandra Dottin" when she's batting - to take strike against Marsh, as the ambulance carrying Taylor speeds away out of the ground. And Dottin lives up to her billing, thrashing Marsh for four through mid-off.

England took that opportunity to take a drink and then they were involved in a huddle. Yesterday the England men had their own and were inspired by a team talk from Ben Stokes. I wonder if England women have just had their equivalent.

In fact, after all that, it wasn't Quintyne being helped into the ambulance - it was Stafanie Taylor. Apologies for the mis-identification. (And thanks to Stephan on TMS for his apology). Deandra Dottin is out to join Quintyne.

    RETIRED HURTpublished at 15.4 overs

Taylor retired hurt 0 (WI 54-1)

In fact, a stretcher is being brought on for Taylor, it looks like she's going to have to retire hurt. Not a particularly sturdy stretcher - it begs the question, why don't they use the golf buggy which is on the edge of the square and help her onto that? It's obviously serious as a yellow ambulance - about the size of a Bedford van - is summoned, and Taylor is helped inside.

The England fielders wait on the other side of the square, take some drinks and have a "huddle" while they wait.

Captain Stafanie Taylor is the new batter - but looks to have hurt herself as she runs a quick single. The Windies physio is on, and stretches Taylor's left leg as she holds her hand in front of her face, looking to be in some pain. Let's hope she's OK.

We were just talking about batting has looked so much easier and Hayley Matthews has tried to hit one out of Montego Bay but got out of shape.

England now may just be looking to put on a little bit of pressure. They were signalling towards the dug-out to get some padding. Maybe they'll be looking to have fielders close around the bat.

    WICKETpublished at 15.1 overs

    Matthews c Elwiss b Ecclestone 27 (WI 53-1)

Gone! Matthews comes down the track and tries another powerful cross-batted shot but gets a leading edge and the ball spoons up perfectly for Georgia Elwiss to take the catch at mid-off.

I want a bit of body language from England at the moment, don't want to go flat. There is still a lot of work to do for the West Indies.

  20. WI 53-0published at 15 overs

It's nearly the first six of the day as Quintyne gets down on one knee and bludgeons Marsh towards cow corner, but the ball just bounces before it hits the rope. That's the fifty stand.

Better news all round is that with the rugby league folk having brought their affairs to a conclusion, the TMS commentary is back on BBC Radio 5 live sports extra.
