Georgia Elwiss in now, presumably having had to get her pads on in a hurry. Just the one to Knight off that Quintyne over.

It's just about the batters coming in absorbing pressure. Georgia Elwiss is going to have to give herself a chance here. You could see the West Indies' energy dropping when Beaumont and Winfield were knocking the ball around, but they're right back in the game now.

If you're watching England's women, no matter how good the start's been, you always worry that one wicket can bring two - or three, or four. They have a problem with losing wickets in clusters.

Wyatt run out 0 (Eng 137-4)

What did I say about one wicket bringing a clatter? England suddenly panicking and making very, very bad decisions. Danielle Wyatt, who replaced Sciver, wants to get off the mark but she and Heather Knight dither in the middle of the pitch, Wyatt turns back but it's not even close. Another wicket given away shambolically. Who are favourites now? I'd suggest the West Indies.

England bowling coach James Kirtley on TMS: "Disappointing again - Nat would probably have wanted to give herself more time. As we see Danni Wyatt striding to the crease, we see the West Indies physio coming on - it looks as though Dottin may have injured herself."

    Sciver c King b Taylor 3 (Eng 137-3)

Sciver in the groove and very quickly out of it, trying to turn West Indies skipper Stafanie Taylor to leg but only managing to pop up an easy catch to Stacy-Ann King. The crowd and West Indies team suddenly animated.

  7. Eng 137-2 (target 224)published at 29 overs

New batter Nat Sciver gets in the groove straight away with a lovely cut - it looks four all the way but a sprinting Deandra Dottin makes a superb diving stop to save a run.

England bowling coach James Kirtley on TMS: "There have been a couple of signs of Lauren backing up like that - it's a desperate way to go, and she'll be disappointed, but she's set the game up well and allowed Heather time to get in. Seeing Nat Sciver coming in with an imminent powerplay - if one of these two is still there at the end, it can go a long way towards an England victory."

Winfield run out 51 (Eng 133-2)

Oh no - Winfield has given it away and allowed the West Indies back into the match. Knight turns into the leg side and the opener sets off from the non-striker's end but the skipper isn't interested. The ball's thrown back to Shaquana Quintyne and Winfield is barely in the frame as the bowler takes the bails off.

  10. 50 runs

50 for Lauren Winfieldpublished at 28 overs

    Eng 132-1

Just the one over for Dottin, who still has six in the bank. Hayley Matthews and her baseball cap come on for some offies, An appeal for lbw but Knight was outside the line and can run a leg-bye. Lauren Winfield then slog-sweeps for four and picks up a single to bring up her fifty. Fine, fine knock from 72 balls and she keeps the strike.

Why would Alex Hartley say she was "bored" when the rest of the team were watching Cool Runnings?

England bowling coach James Kirtley on TMS: "I wouldn't say Alex has the greatest attention span, but she's delightful with it."

  12. Eng 124-1 (target 224)published at 27 overs

Shaquana Quintyne continues with her leg-breaks, and Knight and Winfield pick off three singles without too much trouble. Exactly 100 more needed to win the series.

England bowling coach James Kirtley on TMS: "Deandra Dottin seems to do everything at the speed of light - other than walk."

  14. Eng 121-1 (target 224)published at 26 overs

Excellent stuff, Mark. I'll do my best. England are over halfway to their target at the halfway stage of the innings and have nine wickets in hand.

The tourists are in a great position but we've seen in this series how one wicket can prompt a clatter. This could still be a thrilling finish, plenty of work to do for England.

West Indies turn to Deandra Dottin for inspiration and straight away induces an outside edge from Heather Knight to third man but England are able to run two. Dottin then sends a slower ball down leg side - that's a wide. A nice clip off the legs for one from Knight to finish the over.

  15. Eng 115-1 (target 224)published at 25 overs

Knight is sweeping with confidence here, Quintyne's bowling is a bit ragged but they pick up ones and twos without any problems.

And it's time to hand to Alan Jewell to guide England down the home straight for that record Caribbean run chase. No pressure, Alan...

  16. Eng 110-1published at 24 overs

Taylor into her sixth over, Winfield pulls a single out to Dottin who's patrolling the mid-wicket boundary. Knight guides one just wide of the lumbering Shamilia Connell - and they're nearly halfway there. Her side need 114 more from 27 overs.

  17. Postpublished at 20:53 British Summer Time 16 October 2016

England bowling coach James Kirtley on TMS: "After a brief glimmer for the West Indies, suddenly the pace between the wickets has changed, going back to their languid style. This is where England need to be ruthless."

  18. Eng 108-1published at 23 overs

    Winfield 40, Knight 7

Leg-spinner Shaquana Quintyne is West Indies' seventh bowler. A delicate pull earns Knight a single. Winfield bunts one into the leg side to rotate the strike, and they milk Quintyne for two more singles. Four off the over, that'll do very nicely for the tourists.

  19. Eng 104-1 (target 224)published at 22 overs

Knight guides her opposite number Taylor for another single to take England to 100 from 127 balls - while Winfield times a slog-sweep perfectly for a second-bounce four towards cow corner. The Yorkshire opener survives an lbw shout, and the record chase is still on.

  20. Postpublished at 20:47 British Summer Time 16 October 2016

England bowling coach James Kirtley on TMS: "Deandra Dottin is not someone you take a liberty with, she threw one in a few overs ago like an absolute rocket."
