  1. Australia ring in changespublished at 06:41 Greenwich Mean Time 20 November 2016

In case you missed it earlier, Australia have made six changes to their Test squad to face South Africa on Thursday.

After collapsing to 85 all out in the second Test - all said with an entirely straight face - Australia have rung in the changes.

Middlesbrough-born Matt Renshaw, a childhood mate of Joe Root's, has been called up, while Matt Wade also returns to the side.

  2. NZ beat Pakistan by eight wicketspublished at 06:36 Greenwich Mean Time 20 November 2016

Earlier today, New Zealand beat Pakistan by eight wickets in the first Test in Christchurch.

Pakistan - 129-7 overnight - were bowled out for 171 on the fourth morning as Trent Boult, Neil Wagner and Tim Southee finished with three wickets apiece.

Chasing only 105, New Zealand won inside 32 overs, captain Kane Williamson making 61 and debutant Jeet Ravel an unbeaten 36 to go with his first-innings 55.

The fantastically named Colin de Grandhomme took the man of the match award for his seven wickets on debut, including 6-51 in the first innings.

England will be happy with their morning's work - they've done really well - but they'll be aware that the pitch is starting to do a lot more. The pitch did for quite a few of the Indian players, so England have to get their best batting boots on. On this pitch, against this attack, in these circumstances, they'll do well to take it into day five.

  5. Lunch - England need 405 to winpublished at 06:26 Greenwich Mean Time 20 November 2016

So, what have you missed? Two wickets for Stuart Broad and four for Adil Rashid made it look as though India wouldn't reach that elusive 400 lead. But a entertaining last wicket partnership between Mohammed Shami and Jayant Yadev pushed them over the line. It's keeping low, there's some awkward bounce and England face a record run chase in about 40 minutes time.

Shami st Bairstow b Moeen 19 (Ind 204 all out)

Out! Nice work from Jonny Bairstow, and an irritating little partnership for England is brought to an end. And Moeen Ali's taken a wicket with his first ball, which is a handy skill. So. England need 405 to win.

Bairstow looks very confident about this indeed.

  9. Umpire reviewpublished at 63.1 overs

Hello, has Jonny Bairstow stumped Mohammed Shami? He likes it, and so does Ben Stokes at slip. To the fourth umpire we go.

Any momentum that England grabbed, they are losing it here with this partnership. It's a huge lead on this pitch. When the ninth wicket fell, there was just a glimmer for England, but 400 seems such a long way off.

  11. Ind 204-9published at 63 overs

    Lead by 404

Jonny Bairstow's face after Mohammed Shami hit that six was superb. He turned to Adil Rashid, shrugged his shoulders and made an 'eh, what can you do?' face. Jayant Yadav, meanwhile, has taken a liking to Ben Stokes. A leggy delivery is clipped for four, a low ball beats everyone for four byes and has the England batsmen worrying, before Yadav smacks another boundary off the final delivery.

Arsh Hubil: The Indian tail has wagged wonderfully well in the series to get those vital few runs.

  13. Ind 192-9published at 62 overs

    Lead by 392

Shot! Mohammed Shami comes dancing down the wicket, moving like Ed Balls on Saturday night TV, to smash Adil Rashid into the stands. That went miles, Shami puffing out his cheeks before battering it away into a group of fans. This partnership is worth 30 and India are creeping closer to that 400 lead.

This is a frustrating partnership after England had such a good morning session.

  15. Ind 185-9published at 61 overs

    Lead by 385

Ben Stokes is going to have a bowl before lunch, and he's got Jayant Yadav edging into empty space. This is turning into one of those irritating partnerships. Stokes grabs his cap back from the umpire at the end of the over, looking less impressed with life than he did when he was leaping through the air to take a belter of a catch.

  16. Ind 184-9published at 60 overs

I don't know about winning, Roger, but this pitch isn't turning miles and miles yet. I'm sure if someone gets a start there'll be that familiar surge of optimism, before it all comes crashing down. Adil Rashid whips through another over, before getting some very intense advice from Haseeb Hameed, of all people.

  18. What have you missed?published at 06:05 Greenwich Mean Time 20 November 2016

If you're just waking up, welcome! England have snaffled six wickets this morning, with two for Stuart Broad and four for Adil Rashid, but still India's lead mounts on. They're currently leading by 384. The odd one is keeping low, and there's been some bounce for the seamers.

Dearie me, Australia. It's not often you drop half your Test team. I'm saying nothing, before karma comes and bites me. Back in Vizag, James Anderson gets two balls at Mohammed Shami before he scampers off strike. That's a glorious shot from Jayant Yadav. Full, on the pads, clipped fine for four. Anderson looks even less chirpy than he did at the start of the over.
