There's been a couple of good partnerships. Mohammed played well, but gave it away. Carter played well, but gave it away. This is international cricket and you must be able to assess situations quickly and most of the batsmen haven't done that.

So England need 226 to win the match and win the series. Liam Plunkett, who has had a good series so far, finishes with three wickets, and there's two for Adil Rashid.

Very very poor cricket. I can't understand it, it was a non-existent signal. That, to me, does not make any kind of sense. It's not cricket. I can't understand the thought process between this last pair. You need to bat out 50 overs. That to me is criminal.

Really good work from Jos Buttler there to run out Shannon Gabriel but that was such a messy end to the innings. Once Jason Mohammed and Jonathan Carter fell to identical shots, there was no real thought put into any of the shots by the batsmen.

You have to think about batting all 50 overs, it doesn't matter if you only score 10 or 12 runs in those three overs. It is not good cricket on the part of West Indies.

WICKET - WI 225 all outpublished at 47.5 overs

    Gabriel run out Buttler 1

Fitting finale to a messy last twenty minutes. Devendra Bishoo taps the ball down, there's never a run there and yet Bishoo and Shannon Gabriel take off. Jos Buttler collects the ball, takes aim and hits with Gabriel well short of his ground.

    Nurse b Plunkett 13 (224-9)

Bails off, middle stump knocked back, thank you very much. Good work from Liam Plunkett, who saw the first ball of the over helped away for four by Ashley Nurse. The next delivery was full, straight and Nurse missed it.

My mate had been hit for 5 sixes off the first 5 balls of his over, the batsman went for glory on the 6th only to slightly miscue it- I spilled the catch over the boundary to help complete the humiliating over- needless to say the bowler has never forgiven me...

That's a very nice over from Adil Rashid, rounding it off with the googly. There's a polite round of applause from the bowler for Sam Billings and Jason Roy too. Devendra Bishoo is the new man at the crease.

Surely that catch should go down as Roy-Billings? A nifty fielding combination from England's opening pair.

That was extremely smart cricket as Roy realised how close he was to leaving the field. It was such a smart piece of cricket and the West Indies slump further into trouble.

    Brathwaite c Billings b Rashid 23 (WI 219-8)

Relay catch! Excellent work from Sam Billings and Jason Roy down on the boundary. Carlos Brathwaite goes long, the breeze carrying the ball down towards the boundary. Roy catches it, realises it's going over the rope and flicks it back in for Billings to complete the catch. The TV umpire has a long look, but that is indeed out.

There's a lot of pressure here on Brathwaite, he's got a lot to do. He's the last recognised batsman. I liked his shot straight down the ground; because of his power, if he can keep it simple and nail it down the ground, that's a good option. It's a lot of work for him to do though.

  17. WI 218-7published at 46 overs

    Brathwaite 23, Nurse 7

Liam Plunkett changes his pace, to see if that can bring any more luck, and that's another wide. Ugh. That's better, a decent length delivery that Carlos Brathwaite guides away for a single. A messy over is rounded off with a decent delivery that beats Brathwaite's grope forward.

  18. WI 215-7published at 45.3 overs

Shot! That's rubbish from Liam Plunkett really, short, drifting down leg and it's easy for Ashley Nurse to help it along to the boundary. Nice little hop to help it, too. Too short and wide again from Plunkett, and that's a wide. The West Indies then scramble a bye as Jos Buttler struggles to collect the ball cleanly, which really cheers Plunkett up.

Right, Carlos Brathwaite. Looks like it's down to you.

  20. WI 207-7published at 45 overs

Ashley Nurse comes in. The ball went so high in the air that the the batsmen crossed, so danger man Brathwaite is on strike. He smashes a full one straight back past the bowler for four. Nicely done!
