The West Indies are in danger of not getting past 240 at this rate. This is what Rashid does very well at the back end of the innings. England need to look to be clinical and finish it up, not let the West Indies trickle over the rest of the 50 overs.

The skipper has gone. Slog-sweep which goes high and it's an easy caught and bowled for the leggy.

My daughter was in her debut for a girls club, and they didn't have enough so I was asked to field to make up the numbers. A chance for her first wicket on debut, spooned up to me and I spilt it! She wasn't happy.

Woakes bangs it in but keeps it tight to the body and Brathwaite can't connect. But he does the next ball, using those big arms to steer a ball on middle stump over to the leg-side boundary for four. Powerful.

The fielders spread out as Rashid continues. The Yorkshireman hasn't been the most economical today but the Windies are struggling to find the boundary rope. Just four from the over, which is good going from England at this stage of the innings.

260 would make it a decent game, although it would still very much be in England's favour. It just gives them something to work with. It's not easy at this back end. England are bowling really well. Woakes' figures are ridiculous - that's brilliant bowling.

  8. WI 187-6published at 42 overs

Chris Woakes has bowled beautifully today and he continues to do so.

The intent is definitely there from Holder, he gives himself space and tries to club a couple of short deliveries but plays and misses on both.

There are a lot of travelling England fans here today as we see a lady in a viking hat bopping along to some Caribbean tunes.

  9. WI 182-6published at 41 overs

The England fielders are still discussing that review. But lets forget about it now, a good over from Rashid, just six from it.

Holder got quite far across his stumps trying to work the angle and you can completely see the leg stump. It was a good ball from Rashid, and he has had some good purchase today, but it looked so out on replay.

  11. Holder survivespublished at 40.3 overs

It's just clipping the top of the stumps but it's umpire's call so Holder gets away with it. The England dressing room can't believe it, Paul Collingwood has his head in hands! To the naked eye that definitely looked out.

  12. England review - WI 179-6published at 40.3 overs

LBW shout from England off Rashid's bowling. Holder given not out but looks close. Did he hit it?

    Brathwaite 2, Holder 4

Any more terrible misses out there? I once watched a family member, who shall remain nameless, shatter his nose while trying to take a very high catch. To this day, I'm not quite sure how.

Chris Woakes is back to try and finish this innings off. Again he's bowling that tight line, the batsmen cramped up for room. Just a couple of runs from the over.

    Plunkett 6-1-17-2

Jonathan Carter's expression when he realised what he'd done was the picture of frustration. He slammed his bat into the wicket, unable to watch the ball fly down towards Adil Rashid.  Carlos Brathwaite is the new man.

As soon as he hit it, he knew he'd miscued it. It's tough going here for the West Indies but well done to England, they're toiling away.

With consistent loss of wickets it then means the likes of Brathwaite are coming in a bit too early and now it's a long game for him to have to knock around before exploding.

    Carter c Rashid b Plunkett 39 (WI 173-6)

Oh, Jonathan Carter. He's decided he liked batting so much with Jason Mohammed that he's completely repeated his shot. Liam Plunkett bowls it a bit fuller, Carter gets another leading edge and it's straight down into Adil Rashid's mitts. Dearie me.

Carter's such a clean striker of the ball. Very nifty footwork, he got nicely to the pitch and it was very smooth. You still feel 270 could be on the cards if these two hold it together for another four overs.

    Moeen 10-0-44-1

Shot! Ooh, that is lovely work from Jonathan Carter. A little shimmy down the pitch then he throws his hands through the shot. Up and over mid-wicket the ball goes, and that's six! Top tonking. Moeen responds with a nice delivery that just turns past the outside edge. That's Moeen's work done for the day.

  20. WI 163-5published at 37 overs

Jason Holder gets under way as he guides a full-length delivery from Liam Plunkett away from his toes and out into the deep. A tidy over from Plunkett, keeping the ball angled in to the batsmen, and only a few runs from it.
