  3. Eng 326-6published at 49 overs

I don't understand this. Kagiso Rabada is doing well with the toe-crushers, but for some reason decides a half-tracker is the way to go to Moeen. Pulled for four. Even a full toss is a better ball than that. One over to come. England will want 340.

That was Eoin Morgan's third century in his last eight ODI innings, having not scored one in his previous 24 matches.

  5. Eng 319-6published at 48 overs

Chris Woakes the new man, at the non-striker's end as Moeen Ali swings himself off his feet and gets an edge to third man for four. Not quite as good as some of the strokes that Moeen has played...

He came in at a tricky period and gave the innings impetus. He's really added to his team and given them something worth defending. The manner in which he's done it just shows what a brilliant cricketer he is.

All good things come to an end. Eoin Morgan's magnificent century ends with a toe-ender straight up and in to the hands of long-off. Chris Morris the bowler - he's done well to get the ball full. Wonderful ovation for Morgan, who is bang in for for the Champions Trophy.

You feel Morgan is definitely the right man to lead England into the Champions Trophy. He's changed the mindset of so many players and he's leading from the forefront now.

  9. Eng 311-5published at 47 overs

    Morgan 106, Moeen 57

Morgan celebrates by biffing a full toss for four. England might get 350 here.

It wasn't that long ago people were questioning Morgan's place in this one-day side. He is very much the captain and he's back in form. It's his 11th hundred in one-day cricket and he's got there in magnificent style.

    Eng 307-5

What a way to bring up a ton! Pulled for six! A short ball, Eoin Morgan helps it for miles. What a celebration too, an emotional punch of the air. Wasn't Morgan being dropped for Bairstow (I'll stop saying this soon...)

  12. Eng 301-5published at 46.4 overs

Imran Tahir has been hit out of the attack, replaced by the gas of Kagiso Rabada as a Mexican Wave gathers steam. A wide brings up the 300. Morgan on 96...

Moeen is only the second player to hit Imran Tahir for three sixes in an over in ODIs. Jos Buttler is the other, in Port Elizabeth in 2016.

  14. Eng 298-5published at 46 overs

Runs galore here. South Africa don't have enough fielders to plug the gaps. If it's not going to the fence, England are scampering. Andile Phehlukwayo is lucky not to see a couple of full tosses hit to Pudsey. The 100 partnership comes up from only 73 deliveries. Remember, England were 198-5. Game-changing.

Moeen's showing his value now. Able to come in, playing powerfully down the back of the innings. We know he offers with the ball but this is brilliant.

Six more! A 35-ball fifty! I'm certain Moeen was another of those being dropped for Jonny Bairstow...

I think Tahir might need to take a little bit of pace off. He's bowling quicker and Moeen is just hitting through the line.
