  1. 6 runs

SA need 14 to winpublished at 48.1 overs

Length again. Six again. This time David Miller on Jake Ball, belting him back down the ground.

South Africa's game to throw away now.

  2. 6 runs

    Oh blimey!

DO NOT BOWL LENGTH TO CHRIS MORRIS.

Wood does just that after two perfect deliveries and sees his error sail into the stands.

You feel that sways this game in South Africa's favour.

A brilliant over ruined by the last ball.

And again! Sterling stuff from Wood to beat Morris' once more.

  4. SA need 26 to winpublished at 47.4 overs

Wonderful response by Wood to get Morris playing and missing outside off.

  5. SA 305-5published at 47.3 overs

    Target 331

Fortune favours those who wildly swipe at the short ball.

Morris has no idea where Wood's bouncer is going but gets enough of a top edge on it to send it away over Buttler's head for four.

England are a wicket away from winning this. You'd think these two batsmen will win the game if they are still there in the final over.

  7. SA 300-5published at 47.1 overs

Wood follows Miller way down the leg side as the South African clips it away, forcing Buttler to give chase.

The visitors take on his arm and it's a wild throw on the turn, allowing them to pick up two.

    300 up.

Mark Wood has conceded just 33 off eight overs so far.

A couple of huge overs coming up for the Durham quick...

  9. SA need 33 to win off 18 ballspublished at 47 overs

    Ball 9-0-69-0

Big, big response from Ball as he keeps it down to 'just' nine off the over.

Once again it's the short ball that pays dividends as Morris cannot connect with his pull shot.

  10. SA 296-5published at 46.4 overs

...but unfortunately that just puts Morris on strike.

The big man clobbers a straight hit over Ball's head and it bounces just in front of the ropes for four.

He certainly can hit the length ball.

  11. SA 292-5published at 46.3 overs

England have a fly slip and a wide third man. Unorthodox thinking from Morgan.

A brilliant orthodox yorker from Ball though gets Miller off strike.

  12. SA need 41 to winpublished at 46.1 overs

Miller picks up a single off Ball.

A lengthy conference between bowler and Morgan ensues. England are wary of Morris' hitting power.

Someone has to have a word with Liam Plunkett. It was an attempted yorker but it was right in the hitting zone for Morris.

He's supposed to be a senior bowler now but he wasn't thinking.

  14. 6 runs

    SA 289-5published at 46 overs

    Target 331

    Don't bowl length Liam!

Morris climbs into a length delivery from Plunkett and sends it into the stands.

Much, much better finish from the England quick, going short again and Morris wafts at it forlornly.

  15. SA 283-5published at 45.4 overs

Liam Plunkett goes too full and Chris Morris clatters him through the covers for four.

But that's a misjudgement from the all-rounder as he skies one...but it drops just out of reach of Jake Ball. Nervy moments.

  16. SA 276-5published at 45.1 overs

England scored 63 off their final five overs, South Africa need 56 to win.

Liam Plunkett to bowl his 10th and final over - Morris drives to launch the first into the stands over cow corner but it bounces in front of Ben Stokes.

Remember him? His knee looks to be preventing Stokes from bowling again but he's England's best fielder and is stationed in Morris' favourite spot.

Miller gave his batting partner a bit of a glare. It was lazy backing up by Morris to leave his bat dangling when Miller's off-drive could have gone to the boundary.

  18. SA 275-5published at 45 overs

    Target 331

Chris Morris smashed 62 off 38 balls to lead South Africa to a one-wicket win over England in Johannesburg last year.

Will England regret removing the fitful Behardien?

The big all-rounder frees his arms but Wood beats the bat and concedes a total of just four runs from the over.

Miller smacked the final ball down the ground but it clattered into Morris' bat and straight to a fielder. A bit of luck for England.

  19. SA need 60 runs to winpublished at 44 overs

    Miller 52, Morris 1

As expected, Miller was comfortably back in his crease. As you were.

A single off the final ball takes South Africa to 271. They need 10 runs per over off the final six.

  20. Umpire reviewpublished at 43.5 overs

    SA 270-5

Liam Plunkett sends down a couple of wides, the second of which is very, very wide. But Jos Buttler gathers it and has the presence of mind to throw down the stumps. David Miller looked safe but we'll go upstairs to check.
