This is South Africa's highest fourth-wicket stand in T20 cricket, and the first century partnership for the fourth wicket against England in the same format.

  2. SA 141-3published at 19.5 overs

Short, slapped away, but only for one.

  3. SA 140-3published at 19.4 overs

De Villiers can't get enough on a straight drive. Just the two runs off it.

  4. SA 138-3published at 19.3 overs

Well bowled. Full and quick. Dot ball.

There's nothing wrong with that ball. Chris Jordan just smiles - it's wonderful cricket.

  6. SA 138-3published at 19.2 overs

Big. AB drops to one knee and smashes Jordan into the stand over deep backward square.

  7. SA 132-3published at 19.1 overs

Jordan finishes for England. First ball goes for just the one courtesy of push through off to bring AB to strike.

  8. SA 131-3published at 19 overs

    Behardien 62, De Villiers 56

Wood recovers well in the second half of his final over. Just three more runs of it. SA's best over, though. 15 off it.

This little bit of impetus might be too late but it will give them cause for delight when they go back into the dressing room.

  10. 50 runs

50 for Behardienpublished at 18.3 overs

    SA 128-3

Brilliant fielding from Billings to save a boundary. Behardien cuts Wood and looks to have four until the fielder dives and flicks the ball back with one hand. The next ball does find the rope, though, to give Behardien his maiden T20 international 50. Next ball? Straight down the ground for six. The charge is on.

It seems that South Africa, so far, are under par.

  14. SA 116-3published at 18 overs

Lot of thinking going on out there, coupled with some superb execution, illustrated by AB backing away and Jordan going yorker length outside off for a dot ball. Only four runs off the next five balls. Brilliant from Jordan.

    12 big balls coming up.

I looked at the pitch before the game and it looked a belter, almost the perfect pitch. Maybe it's not as good as we think? Or perhaps England have bowled really well? You can hear how badly the South Africans have timed the ball from here.

  16. 50 runs

50 for De Villierspublished at 17 overs

    SA 112-3

Ooof. Behardien moves across his sticks and tries to loft one to leg but gets clocked in the stomach by Willey. He is then lucky to survive the next ball which he pulls just short of the diving Crane.

AB shows him the way with a flicked six from one knee to bring up his 50. Far from his most fluent, but he is still there to try and do some damage in these last three.

How good is it watching Mark Wood bowl? He's averaging 88mph. For him to impact the England side like he does is outstanding.

  18. SA 102-3published at 16 overs

Wood is bang on it. Short of a length, quick, a nightmare to face. His first four balls are perfect, but his fifth is misjudged and Behardien absolutely clocks it, way into the stand for a much-needed maximum. They need a few more.

  19. WATCH: De Villiers survives top edgepublished at 19:31 British Summer Time 21 June 2017

Here is the reason AB is still with us to try and do some damage in the last five...

South Africa need a massive finish - they need 60 in the final five overs to have any hope of defending this total.
