  1. SA 164-7published at 19 overs

Morne Morkel is at the crease. He's so tall that his bat looks like a child's in his hands. That's the end of Tom Curran. He'll round off his international debut with figures of 4-0-33-3, which is an excellent evening's work.

It's a great skill to be able to bowl perfect yorkers like that at the end of an innings to a new batsman.

    Phehlukwayo b Curran 0 (SA 164-7)

Bowled 'im! That's spot on from Tom Curran at this point in the innings. It's a yorker, full, straight, fast and Andile Phehlukwayo doesn't get so much as a hint of bat on it.

If South Africa can get up to 180, they are in this game. Par is higher here than it was at Southampton because of the shorter boundaries and the pitch.

  5. 6 runs

    SA 163-6published at 18.3 overs

That's a cracking swipe from Farhaan Behardien! The ball sits up nicely from Tom Curran and Behardien guides it up and over the ropes. The ball bounces just off the top of the box where the Sky crew are commentating from.

Tom Curran looks the part and he is clearly enjoying himself.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 18.2 overs

    Morris c Roy b Curran 12 (SA 157-6)

Jason Roy breaks the tradition of the past few overs, and holds on to a simple catch in the deep! That's a second wicket for Tom Curran as Chris Morris goes for a big pull shot, gets his timing all wrong and Roy takes a good catch, running to his left. Curran goes racing off to his Surrey team-mate and they have identical celebrations, arms outstretched like they're miming an aeroplane taking off.

Really glad that I said England's fielding had been sharp about two overs ago. Sorry, fellas. Chris Jordan has the grin of a man who feels a little hard done by.

That was a simple catch, he should have taken it comfortably. It was straight down his throat, he didn't need to move an inch.

  10. dropped catch

    Dropped catchpublished at 18 overs

    SA 156-5

Oh, Liam Livingstone, that is a dolly. Jordan's big full toss is hammered out to midwicket by Morris and the Lancashire debutant doesn't have to move, but despite all this he allows the ball to ricochet out of his grasp.

  11. SA 153-5published at 17.3 overs

    Behardien 17, Morris 11

Chris Jordan has to bowl now he's shelled that catch, and his first ball is slapped away for four by Farhaan Behardien. That's not controlled from Chris Morris, a swipe and the top edge lands just in front of a diving David Willey in the deep. And to add insult to injury, the ball has bounced underneath Willey and into the boundary ropes.

Here are the last two South Africa wickets to fall - first it was David Miller...

And then danger man AB de Villiers.

  13. dropped catch

Behardien dropped on 11published at 17 overs

    SA 14-5

Oh, Chris Jordan! It's not been his day in the field. It's a simple catch offered up by Farhaan Behardien, swiped hard but right up into Jordan's grill. He leans back, hands up to his chin, but the ball bounces straight out of his hands! It's struck him on the cheek, too. Jordan's had a terrible two minutes there.

  14. SA 143-5published at 16.5 overs

A swipe across the line from Farhaan Behardien picks up another single, but that's all South Africa can find at the minute. They're not helped by the fact that England's fielders have been bang on today. That'll be four from Behardien though - David Willey offers up a fraction of width and the batsman tucks in, slapping the ball up and over cover.

I'm keeping an eye on the speed gun, and Tom Curran is hitting 88mph. He's having a decent debut.

  16. SA 136-5published at 16 overs

    Curran 3-0-25-1

Here's Tom Curran, mixing up his pace and Jonny Bairstow gets a huge cheer as he does a bit of tidying up on the boundary. Chris Morris and Farhaan Behardien get a few easy singles, clipping the ball off their pads, but they can't find the boundary. Good slower balls from the Surrey man, and that's a neat, restrictive over.

That wicket could save England 25 runs.

  18. SA 130-5published at 15 overs

New man Chris Morris gets off the mark to his first ball, but it's only a single. South Africa can't let AB's dismissal slow them down in the final five overs.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 14.3 overs

    De Villiers c Morgan b Willey 46 (SA 126-5)

And, er, that's the end of AB. A length ball from David Willey and De Villiers knew as soon as he hit it that it was out. He ended up with one hand off the bat as he pulled the ball up into the air, and Eoin Morgan steadied himself to take the catch. Still, a decent bit of thwacking from AB - he made 46 from just 20 balls.
