And Eoin Morgan has called correctly out in the middle at Taunton. England will have a bowl first, and there's a few changes to the side.

Tom Curran and Liam Livingstone will indeed make their international debuts tonight, in place of Mason Crane and Alex Hales. Liam Plunkett also plays in favour of Mark Wood.

South Africa didn't get to grips with the conditions at the Ageas Bowl the other night. The batsmen struggled to up the tempo on a slow pitch and, as England tonked the ball around during their chase, the fielding went to pot.

I mean, if ever there was a sign that things aren't going your way, then it's this drop from poor Farhaan Behardien...

  3. 'Grown up' Bairstow accepts England decisionspublished at 16:29 British Summer Time 23 June 2017

Jonny Bairstow is a man in form: in 2017, he has scored 292 runs in six innings in one-day cricket, which means he averages 97.3.

He hasn't been able to nail down a regular place in England's limited-overs starting line-up but proved his point with an unbeaten 60 from 35 balls on Wednesday.

"I've grown up a lot over the last three years. I'm not sure what I can particularly put that down to, but naturally you grow from a boy to a man," Bairstow said.

"If you pick every bit of it apart, then you get yourself het up. There's more to life."

  5. Last time outpublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 23 June 2017

England put in a cracking all-round display in the first Twenty20 at Southampton, roundly beating South Africa by nine wickets.

A stand of 110 between AB de Villiers and Farhaan Behardien came to no avail as the Proteas were restricted to 142-3 from their 20 overs.

Jonny Bairstow and Alex Hales guided England's chase, with 60 from the Yorkdhireman and 47 from Hales as the home side chased the total with 5.3 overs remaining.

Hello! If you're heading to Somerset today, you're going for one of two things: Glastonbury or the cricket. It'd be wonderful if we could combine the two but sadly, that's yet to happen.

Anyway, welcome to this live text of the second Twenty20 between England and South Africa. We don't have Radiohead, but we do have 22 blokes smacking a ball around a cricket pitch. Which is really what you're here for.
