West Indies have scored more than 300 runs in the day. That's a good day for any side batting anywhere in the world.

  5. WI 319-5published at 101 overs

    S Hope 147, Blackwood 11

Hope jabs into the off side for a couple.

Eeek, nervy moments as he edges through the slips for a streaky boundary.

Bit of a tired-looking shot as he tried to work it to leg, but he's earned it today.

A leave off the last and just one more over in the day for Windies to negotiate.

Bowl it there and Jermaine Blackwood will go after it - whether it's the first ball of the day or the last ball of the day.

  14. WI 300-5published at 95 overs

Stokes greets Jermaine Blackwood with a bouncer that the new batsman ducks under.

Will Blackwood play some strokes in these final stages? Yes, yes he will.

Roston Chase got squared up on the back foot. It's not a great shot but it's a good catch. England are right back in this Test match if they can drag it back in the next seven overs. Australia's great teams would do that at the end of an iffy day.

    Chase c Cook b Stokes 5 (WI 296-5)

Hope dabs a single to bring Chase on strike.

Two dots but then Stokes finds an extra bit of lift, this time well-directed, and Chase brings his hands too high to push at it and guide it to Cook at first slip.

Poor decision from Chase to play at it up there but excellent bounce from Stokes and a solid catch from Cook - his 151st in Test cricket.

Can England pick up one or two more before the day is out?

The frustrating thing about this England side is that they can be incredible one week and then out of nowhere they've produced two days of really poor stuff.

  18. WI 295-4published at 94 overs

Here comes Anderson, looking to replicate his morning performance.

That won't help his mood - Shai Hope getting an inside edge just past his own stumps and it runs away for four.

Hope then punches a drive, looking to consecutive boundaries, but Moeen does well to slide and keep them to three.

You're not dreaming, Fazeer. West Indies have a chance to really grind England down now.

Finally James Anderson returns to the attack. Quick wickets needed for the hosts.

West Indies have shocked me. It's remarkable to see how they have turned it around. I almost want to pinch myself.
