He just didn't seem to pick it up and it ended up flicking his fingers and carrying on.

An uncharacteristic error from Cook in the slips.

It went quickly but it wasn't the hardest chance, going at chest height.

It's not one you'd expect Cook to drop.

Brathwaite dropped by Cook on 4published at 10 overs

    Down!

Another mighty fine over from Broad ends with him finding Brathwaite's edge.

It flies straight at Alastair Cook at first slip but the former skipper puts it down. Broad was already celebrating, so rare is it that Cook drops one in the slips.

It was an awkward-ish height, Cook unsure whether to go fingers pointing up or down, but it definitely should have been taken.

This would be West Indies' fourth highest chase to win and the third highest chase ever in England.

It would also be only the seventh time a team chased 300+ to win on the final day.

  5. WI 11-0published at 9 overs

    Target 322

Broad backs up his good work in that previous with a diving stop to keep Powell on strike to Anderson.

Jimmy doesn't look too appreciative but has a little word with his bowling partner as he returns to his mark.

I'm on the look out for any signs that West Indies are looking to score and chase this down but so far the England bowlers haven't given them any opportunities. A maiden.

  6. WI 11-0published at 8 overs

    England need 10 wickets

It'll be Broad and Anderson as ever at the start of this fifth day.

Kieran Powell never seems to exude much confidence against England's seamers and he edges the first ball from big Stu and it flies away wide of the slips for four.

Wowser this is a good over from Broad. He has struggled in this match at times but he beats Brathwaite as the batsman looks to come forward with the ball jagging off the pitch.

He might not want to do this, but I've always though James Anderson would make an excellent umpire.

Jonathan Agnew: He'd be the first umpire to pick up demerit points for swearing into stump mics.

That's given Brathwaite something to think about - it really went. A lovely sight for a bowler on the final day.

  10. WI 6-0published at 7 overs

    Target 322

This ball is only seven overs old so even on a fifth day pitch Anderson is able to get plenty of bounce.

The final ball of the over jumps up past Brathwaite's chest as well as moving a long way away from the bat.

A beauty and a fine opening over from Jimmy. If West Indies were in any doubt of their challenge, they'll be sure of it now.

It didn't look quite right from here.

  12. WI 6-0published at 6.3 overs

Jimmy has the ball hooping around already.

With that wobble seam, he gets the ball to come back in to Kraigg Brathwaite.

The batsman is hit on the pad which results in a big appeal from the slips but that was too high and the umpire shakes his head.

  13. WI 5-0published at 6 overs

Right. After that 15 minute delay, the final day of this Test is about to get under way.

Ottis Gibson gives his bowlers a high five as they step over the boundary rope.

Jimmy Anderson to Kieran Powell to begin under think cloud at Headingley.

These are perfect conditions for England's trio of Anderson, Broad and Woakes.

It is cloudy and that is when it does most at Headingley.

It is a good wicket. Yes it is spinning but there is an opportunity to get your head down and score runs. West Indies need to get to lunch no more than two down and set the platform.

Graeme Swann: England to win by tea, with Moeen Ali taking seven-for.

Fazeer Mohammed: England to win just after tea.

Dan Norcross: A tie with Shannon Gabriel getting bowled trying to slog it away for the winning run.

A quick couple of stats if England do win today.

This would be the first time West Indies have lost a Test match having gained a first innings lead of 150 or more.

Were England to win it would also be just the 20th time in Test history a team has overturned a first innings deficit of 150 or more.

But that's me getting ahead of myself. As West Indies bowling coach Roddy Estwick said last night, "don't count West Indies out".

They need the 20th-highest successful fourth innings run chase in Tests.

Australia are chasing 265 to win the first Test against Bangladesh in Mirpur.

It might not sound much, but it would be the highest score in the match if they did win after the hosts were bowled out for 221 in their second innings.

Tamim Iqbal helped himself to another half-century (78), with Nathan Lyon picking up 6-82. The Aussies are currently 23-0 in their run-chase. Follow that here.

I hope West Indies' attitude has changed overnight. Fine, they might not win today but they can save it. It's not unprecedented. They need to bat properly and be focused.
