Not only will today see the end of the best Test match of the summer so far, but we could be in for a bit of history.

James Anderson is on 497 Test wickets and, with 10 West Indian wickets remaining, he is in with a good shout of joining the 500 club today.

He would become just the sixth bowler to reach 500 Test wickets and just the third fast bowler.

Whenever it happens, it'll be a top achievement for England's greatest ever but I must admit I hope it happens in my stint today.

It is absolutely pathetic. If I am a playing cricket and my team are trying to win a Test match and a chance goes down, I am saying a lot worse than what Jason Holder said.

And this morning there is more news regarding cricket's most controversial new term - 'demerit points'.

West Indies captain Jason Holder has had a point added to his record for “using language or a gesture that is obscene, offensive or insulting during an international match."

The incident occurred when Holder twice made "inappropriate comments" in the 70th over of England's innings yesterday.

It follows the demerit point added to Ben Stokes' record yesterday for a similar incident earlier in the match.

I'm sure we'll hear more views about this throughout the day.

The one over Moeen bowled last night fills me with confidence. He could have had three wickets in six balls last night. I expect big things from him today.

  5. Cricket Fever strikespublished at 10:47 British Summer Time 29 August 2017

With the risk of repeating myself a little, this Test match has been unexpectedly sensational.

It has turned one way and then the other and if England were to win it would surely be one of their most impressive and entertaining in recent times after the first innings lead they conceded.

So if you're in the Headingley area today get yourself down to the ground.

Tickets are a bargain and Yorkshire have even provided this excellent 'sick note' to get you off work with "Cricket Fever"...

  6. Start delayed by 15 minutespublished at 10:43 British Summer Time 29 August 2017

The bad news is there has been a little bit of rain around Headingley this morning.

As a result we are going to have a delay to the start of play by 15 minutes.

The cloud is already clearing around the ground, the mop up operation is under way and the covers are in fact off. There should be no more stoppages today.

  7. Day four recappublished at 10:37 British Summer Time 29 August 2017

Having been dominated by West Indies throughout the first three days of this match, England started the fourth day with a lead of just two, three wickets down.

Half centuries from Joe Root, Dawid Malan and Ben Stokes took England further in front but when the hosts lost three wickets before tea, with the lead by no means comfortable, the match was in the balance.

But after tea Moeen Ali swung the game in England's favour with a brilliant counter-attacking 84. He batted with Chris Woakes (61) and helped increase England's lead to 321 and give their skipper Joe Root the opportunity to declare.

No wickets fell in a six-over spell from England before the close but this match has turned full circle. For the first time on a morning of this match England are in charge.

    Hello again.

Welcome along to our coverage of day five of the second Test between England and West Indies. I must be honest, that's not a sentence I thought I'd be writing six days ago.

The equation is simple. England need 10 wickets. West Indies need another 317 runs.

This quite brilliant Test match is going to get the last day finale it deserves.

"Hopefully we can win the game in two sessions."

    England are confident.

"Don't write us off yet, we will be back and will come back fighting."

But West Indies haven't given up.

The hosts look to be the favourites. But in this remarkable Test match, who knows?
